Wondering how to make those colorful resources that you see on Teachers Pay Teachers? Its a lot easier than you think! Here's a quick video on how to get started!
Thank you so much for this video. I'm a teacher that has purchased so many items from TPT, but sometimes I can't find what I want and would like to create my own, but not sure how to make it, without it looking boring. Your video just answered some of my many questions. Thanks again!!
I always wanted to know where to start with creating something for TPT. This video answered my questions. Now that I know how to create the cover page, I want to learn how to create the actual product.
Thank you so much! I appreciate your videos so much! Do you have a video showing how to flatten the Powerpoint, but keep the links added (those that we want to credit) "unflattened". Once I flatten my Powerpoint, my hyperlinks don't work either. Help would be amazing in this regard!
This was soo helpful! Question. I know that when you download special fonts from tpt when others download it who don’t have that font it won’t transfer over. How do you add special fonts but make it so when others download it will still be there? Do you have to save the text box as an image?
Great video! Thank you for sharing. Just wondering if you still have to credit the person’s work if you paid for it or is it just the free resources?? Very new at this. Thanks!
Can you make a video on a step by step on how to find clip art that you can you to make worksheet to sell on teacher pay teacher. And showing where to read each seller condition on how can use their clip art without getting in trouble. Thanks for the video it gave me a little insight on how to start, a little . But I’m a viral person so a video on how , where and who work I can use and how to make sure I’m not copyrighted anyone work, will help.
The logo/icon that you inserted in the right-hand corner is the name of your blog or your branding? I have been to fiverr. When having them make this what do you call it? A logo and you tell them what to put on it. Is it pretty much like your stamp/watermark so no one else will use it? Also, when people give their license... will that appear on a sheet of paper? I understand the copyright issues (I used to teach beginning band and it can be a major issue). Actually, when I was in college we received word that we were to get a visit from someone who would be checking our music library for copies.. so, a bunch of students stayed up all night pulling out any xerox copies that might have crept in the files. I hear the fines are pretty hefty. Thanks for your video. All of it looks pretty easy.
Where do you get the actual questions or content for the products? Do I really need to make up my own content or can I use content from a Reading or Math series?
Thank you, very nice video. I am new to TPT and the file did not download as a powerpoint or pdf, do you know how I can get some help? I have so many questions .....thanks
This was awesome! How do I credit clip art or boarders I’ve downloaded from TpT if I’m only making a 1 page “handout” for parents I work with? Do I need to put the seller’s “button” on the actual handout? I feel like it would be very “clunky” and not fit. I don’t have a TpT storefront, I was just making worksheets for parents I work with (I’m an Occupational Therapist) and I don’t want to misuse the clipart and things I’m downloading from TpT. Thank you!!
I have created a TPT product to share with other counselors using a font I bought, however, whenever I share that resource, the font changes when the other counselors download it. What do I need to do to my product to stop this from happening? Thank you so much!
Cool power point guide. Do you know anything that would prevent me from sharing a link to my "3rd party" website that offers the same or similar products (this time I sell it directly without a tpt commission). Also, what is the commission at the end of the day? Is it really 40-50%? Thanks a lot!
Hi Lauren! I have a question. Do you design your own drawings ? Which software do you use? I am a speech therapist from México. Your video is great! Thanks for sharing! Hope to Heard from you soon :)
If you are looking for someone to talk you through how to create products, this one is difficult. I had to stop and start the video over and over because it doesn’t say what to do for each step. It does walk you through it but not step-by-step. I don’t know how to change page settings or where to go and all the video said was change your page settings. Well how do you do that? This goes on for the whole video.
I do not know how to buy things from TPT, I am Spanish teacher and I found great posters and lessons for Spanish class, but my problem is how to by and pay. Is there any one to help me? Thanks so much.
Hi There are so many teachers selling learning folders, I thought it is copyright to use peoples material for sale again?. Also how is the lady you mentioned in the video creating the clipart?
You must be able to buy the resources that you use. If you do not pay the artist for their work you can be sued for copyright infringement. I am not a lawyer. If the artist allows the use of their resources for free, it is different. If you use artwork and credit the artist without their permission, it is still copyright infringement. Even if the author/artist has not filed a copyright, it is still protected from the moment of creation. In the video she said that she paid for the or used free resources for credit with the artist's permission.
