You don't have to agree with everything he says. I don't, but I forsure picked up some knowledge. Knowing different approaches and techniques is never a bad thing even if you don't plan on implementing it yourself or if it doesnt work for you. Glad you finally got Scott on the channel mark. Good video 👍

What exactly don't you agree with? Not being aggressive but your comment clearly states you don't agree with at least some of what he says.
@atp_powerlifting560
@atp_powerlifting560 5 лет назад
@@jackhughman9450 honestly rather not even mention what I don't agree with because I'll get torn apart by the "well do you bench 700lb comments" I think everone has a style unique to them for benching to some degree and Scott makes it seem like everyone should/can bench like him in that specific manner and that's not in my opinion true. Kirill Sarychev doesnt bench specifically like this has a 738 Bench, best all time, neither does Eric spoto at 722lb Bench, Scott did put out some great info but just like all knowledge it should be taken into consideration but not considered a fact.

Totally different technique: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-UgP3ixLWOIw.htmlm57s But the thing I see everyone do is get setup on their traps by bringing their head from behind the bar forward similar to how Mendelson explained it. I watched all the videos where he explained his technique (there are some with Furious Pete), and before this one I was more skeptical about the fact that everybody could do it. He is a 300+ guy with a giant back, not everybody can let their triceps rest on the lats at the bottom, simply because the avarage guy or girl doesn't have the muscles to do it. But this is really golden knowledge, he is a total monster and for sure everyone of us can learn a lot from his words, moreover seeing the girl benching like him showed me that actually is possible to do it even if you don't have the lats and triceps big as an apartment.

well because most people bench to build muslce, also (not trying to be rude) but with a tummy like his + a wide grip, he barley have to move the bar to get a rep.
