how to bend wood for table leg 

Welcome to today's show. Today I am making a table leg by bending some quartersawn oak. I made a jig then I cut the piece that I wanted to use into 1/8 inch strips. To bend the wood I soaked the pieces in water for an hour or so and then I clamped them in the jig. I let them dry over night and then I glued the pieces together and let left them in the jig for another 24 hours.
I trimmed them up and then I put the leg assembly together.
