Went looking for a video for how to bind fs3a to my gt5, i was sure i was doing it right and had tried a few different bind plug and power positions, but could not get it to stop blinking.. until i saw this video and turned the transmitter off! Cheers mate. Ps, maybe consider adding fs GT5 to the title, works just like you say too.
check out the ringer and not alike. Fall is probably one of my favorites so far though, still haven't heard em all. Been watching them on youtube then get sucked into the black hole of recommended videos on the side bar instead of listening to more.
Butch Miller 0 seconds ago Flysky FS-GT2E AFHDS 2A 2.4ghz 2CH Radio System Transmitter for RC Car Boat with FS-A3 Receiver.. I purchased this unit in Sept. and the problem is it starts the motor as soon as I turn it on and only shuts down if I push the finger switch full forward. Release it and it wants to run at about half speed. The fine tuners won't correct the problem.
What did you put it in? Some ESCs have a throttle range learning procedure you have to follow also. Make sure trims are centered before you do it. Possible you just have a faulty setup also. Ive bought 3 flysky radios and gotten 2 vehicles with rebranded flyskys and haven't had an issue yet but I don't think a company exists that's put out an electronic product with a failure of zero

Yo, I just bought one of those flyskys and I'm wondering 2 things.....can I operate more than 1 receiver and is there a failsafe on them? I agree with what you've said there so I'm wondering if they left something out.
With the Gt2 I think it's a 1 model deal. Would have to rebind every time you want to operate a different rx. And I believe that yes the gt2e does have a failsafe.

I have the same receiver why does my reverse have more power than the forward when I press the trigger at full throttle? Been doing some adjustments on the receiver but still the same thing please let me know if you know something thanks for the info
Huh, maybe try swapping any 2 motor wires(if brushless) and starting over? I know I've had to solve this myself before but I don't remember what did it.
I am finding an interesting problem when I bind more than one A3 to the same GT5. Specifically, I assign all trucks different ID numbers and bind each truck individually. But, If I power up all the trucks, they all respond at the same time, to the tx, regardless of which ID number they are assigned to. So, they're not bound at all, just open to communicating. This could be a major problem if someone else in my group is running a Flysky, I expect. Has anyone else heard of this? Thanks if you can help out.
They are all bound to your radio. It's just that the radio only has separate settings for stuff like trim/expo/epa/etc for each model but doesn't actually have a different *link*(I don't really know what the term would be) under each model ID. My GT3B does the same thing. I can control any model that I have bound to it at the same time as long as they are powered up. I have never had an issue controlling anyone elses rig though.
@@caraddict Thanks for the response, which is consistent with what others have told me, since posting. Worth noting, however, when an FS-B6 is bound to the GT5, you cannot control other rigs at the same time. A warning appears on the screen telling you to power down the B6-enabled rig in order to switch. So, it appears some receivers are smarter than others, and do in fact link exclusively. Good to know someone else's rig and mine will not crosstalk, regardless. Cheers...
@@NaturallyRC good to know. I just use the dirt cheap RXs from HK for like 4 bucks, forget the number they give them. I'm curious to try the B6 on my gt3b now just to see.
@@caraddict Awesome. I'm always on the lookout for cheap receivers since I don't need a gyro or six channels for rock crawling. Thing is, with the GT5 the protocol must be: AFHDS 2A. The 2A is key, and rules out a lot of brands and models.
No, only reason you'd have to do it all the time would be if you wanted to use a radio without model memory to control different rigs, you'd have to bind to whatever truck(receiver) you wanted to control at the time. If you have one radio for one truck you just have to bind the one time.
Is it new? I assume you've tried it the way the book says? I hit my daughter a redcat everest 10 a while back and it's for the same radio im pretty sure but I'll check in the book to see if their binding instructions are different and let you know.
@@caraddict yeah it was new. I gave up on it. It would go I to binding mode when I did it the way you show but when the radio is put into bind nothing happens so I'm assuming the radio is junk.
I have a FS GR3C I can give a shot with later. Also got an HK-GT2R. both of those bind to my FS-GT3B... found a video that says they can bind the GR3E to the GT3B so if I can get the GT2E to link to my receivers I would assume that means your plan will work.
@@caraddict I got it.... there is 2 modes AFHDS and AFHDS 2A for the GT2E transmitter. the way to change modes is "turn the steering while holding bind and turn on transmitter. with the green light flashing let go of both. Now press and release bind again to save. then turn off receiver. done. if needed this can be change back using the same method.
@@168grhp That is fantastic news. I was so happy when i found out how this worked. I have 5 receivers. 2 of them are the adhfs 2a and the other 3 are G3R3. I can run either receivers with the same remote just by doing the simple mode hack.
@@LegendaryRc right. The GT2E isn't my radio. I have the GT3B. But all my receivers are the GR3E so I have never tried binding a FS-A3 reciever to a GT3B radio.
