I have been so interested about learning the Birkat Ha Mazon and as I was listening to this beautiful prayer, I was really somewhere else, I think I was understanding the meaning, suddenly, I realized that you were praying in Hebrew and of course, I do not know Hebrew. The ending has a whole section in between the ose shalom part and the part ending on vashalom and then we all go lililililili to the same tune all together pounding the table

Shir Hamaalot tehillim 126 is recited on Shabbos and chaggim, not weekdays. On weekdays tehillim 137 is recited.
