Oil pastel vs colored pencils which is better for realistic drawing also? *Is oil pastel reqired lot of drawing materials like glass marking pen, acrylic paint, net clothes , marker, correction pen etc?* Color pencil reqired less? *Please tell me which is better for beginner and realistic drawing?*

I draw mostly cars and blending the colors to make it look like a mirror finish is pretty difficult. It takes a lot of stump rubbing and white highlighting. I want to see you do some cars. Btw I have subbed. I will study your techniques.

Lino, what kind of colored pencils do you use? I’m using a koh-I-noor set but they seem very waxy and don’t lay down smoothly. They look quite splotchy. Thanks for all your help! Michael

Precision to the millimeter level. Noted this to know how much precision is required for a quality drawing. If someone stands at arms length that is sufficient detail. Not in the video but reason this works is the human eye smears colors. Contrast is what we see the sharpest, not color. Same for shading and values - millimeter level should be sufficient.
