I’ve always struggled finding ways to blend my extensions with my short hair but have to say, your videos are the only ones that really helped! I love my hair now I know how to do it properly☺️

Thank you! I have never been very girly or cared about my hair or nails or anything but I have been trying to lately. I dyed my hair and love the color but I got drunk the other day and cut my hair really short on accident (oopsies) but when I dyed my hair and loved it, I decided to finally try out extensions. I spent way too much money and dyed them my same color and was excited but I couldnt blend my hair in and I got dejected and was thinking "see, this is why I shouldn't try" but you helped me alot. my exstenions wont keep my curls in like this it's annoying their foxy locks 24inch and iv cut them and layerd them but still wont hold

Ok so I realize this video is 3+ years old but I just happened to come across it as i was googling DIY aftermarket balayage coloring on my extensions. When you said you pin the back up I recommend try using little hair rubber bands but make sure they are the rubber ones and not the little plastic ones because those ones if one happens to break they don’t feel real good close to the scalp as they are not very strong. I truly love using them in my hair and what I do when I wear my clip ins is right where I am going to put the clip at I get a very small bit of my hair and tie it as close as I can get it to my head and wiggle the teeth of my clip into the secured hair and on top of the rubber band to help hold the extension in place incase of slipping was to occur because I am always so worried about accidentally pulling one out in public lol. Me personally I don’t do a band for every clip only for the single and double clip strands and for the longer pieces i just put one on each end but if you wanted to put on every clip you certainly can it really up to each individual. To me it reminds me of the tiny braid that do when you get the sew ins done and it gives me more confidence and they actually seem more like your real hair because your not as nervous about pulling them out when you move your hair to one side or moving around! ❤

If you angle your side pieces as well when you go to clip them in starting at an upward angle they will blend even better. As it will follow your natural crown
