I have a gift for you! 😊 It's a free Affinity Photo course that will teach you 10 simple steps to make any photo amazing. I hope you love it! affinity.sale/10-steps
@Cyan Yvette Are you referring to the Affinity Designer program? I am not affiliated with the company that makes the Affinity software, but you can contact them here: affinity@serif.com
Wow wow wow!! keep more such new concepts coming really love them!! makes me feel so powerful when i have a program like affinity and excellent youtubers like you to teach. And I was a skeptic. But now I can feel that in a few months time with more practice, I can finally think about making this as a money making job. As of now, I still have so much to learn and so much to perfect.
I love how you achieve such fantastic effects with essentially simple adjustments. Although I must admit the last couple of adjustments were like magic… 😅
OMG... this is really great professional teaching... I'm not your best pupil, by far, and my needs are a lot more limited... but with your help, I will be able to insert “objects“ in photos with proficiency. You're an endless source of ressources... thanks a lot for what you're offering... it's priceless !
Super lesson Ally - as so often, packed with countless techniques and settings... some particularly effective for example the color adjustments to the lady figure. Then too the layers control. Really enjoyed this masterpiece, and thank you. :)
@@AffinityRevolution you are welcome. i tested it in my latest thumbnail ➡️ ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-GvMJ22yP8Es.html I hope you could see it, it's small but I loved your technique.
A really great tutorial. I've learned so much from this. just need to keep practising. One question, please.....when you are painting are you using a tablet pen or a mouse or trackpad? Please keep your tutorials coming. Thank you. Adrian
I use this Wacom tablet. It’s a little expensive, but it makes working with Affinity's paint brush so much easier! www.amazon.com/Wacom-Wireless-Software-Included-CTL6100WLK0/dp/B079NWPZTG/
It's how much paint is being applied each time you go over an area. So 10% flow would apply 10% of the possible paint. 100% paint completely covers an area in paint, while 10% paint would still show 90% of the underlying area.
In other words: If you have 100% opacity and 100% flow, you will apply 100% paint to the image. You only have to click or drag once with your brush to apply the 100% paint. Now if you have 100% opacity but only 50% flow, you would need to click or drag your brush two times over the same area to apply the 100% paint.
@@DaKosi thanks so much. Your explanation made it extremely clear. Flow at 33% would mean you’d have to drag your brush three times to get 100%. Got it
By painting black to hide the woman, you reveal the layers that are underneath her. In this case, the wolf's layer is underneath her. So as you paint away the woman, the wolf's fur becomes visible. 😊
