Paula Smith same with me until I realized I needed to use dry light colors 😊 and use very little and then put it on and use another clean brush to blend it out 😃
Perhaps you need to find the right brushes. And then when using blending brush, it's better not to hold on too tight but hold it lightly while blending it back and forth.

I wish I had another travel video up for you, the last one I uploaded was a short little vlog of Galway city! I've nearly finished Co Wexford and I've started Co Kilkenny but I always have to film them in bits and pieces due to the weather or sometimes certain attractions that I want to film only open at particular times of the year. Fingers crossed I'll have my Wexford travel vlog up by the end of next month/early April :) x

Yeah sometimes it can be hard to find a balance. Honestly I think it all comes with practice! One thing I will say though is if you're trying to blend out a harsh edge make sure you only blend where you need to blend. Place your brush over the edge and blend back and forward to soften it. If you blend over the look as a whole that's when I find the eyeshadow can tend to all mush together and become muddy looking. x

This is an excellent video. I've watched a few on blending now and so many of them are just the same two tips being spit out over and over again with a few key words changed here and there and not really explaining what they are doing to actually blend. Your teaching skills are fabulous. Probably one of the best I've seen on the platform. Top 5 for sure . 🖤❤️

I already gave her a few palets and singles...some I don't use anymore because of my age...some new because I want to keep my own. Now I'm going to "give" her this tutorial! Love the video,simple and effective, could you do a more in depth video on eye brushes like what one would need in a basic kit. I often find my self wanting to recreate some looks but don't have the correct tools.
I feel like perfecting makeup is all about doing something different everyday on yourself. Changing up colors, techniques, etc. i am always tweaking the process in the interim. Still not to the place where i want to be- but i will not give up. I love this shit too much, it’s literally my job and the best one I’ve ever had. Hello! I was wondering if it's possible to put lotion on the eyelid instead of a primer or concealer? I tried putting an eye friendly one on and it worked! My other question is that can you do an eye makeup tutorial with no false lashes? I would really like to see how the makeup looks with only mascara and no false lashes. Hey, what is the brand for eyeshadows on 4:02 and what to do if i go far away with eyeshadow(i have hooded eyes) when i try to clean it with Q-tip it looks so harsh and it wont blend? love you💜
I have hooded eyes and I'm 62 yrs old. Basically just started with eye shadows. What can I say? I want to look regal. My question is when applying eye shadow I have a patchwork appearance on my eyes. I blend and blend with not much avail. What do u do to help smooth it all out?
