Totally agree. My kids watch stuff I don't want them to watch. But even if I clicked not interested in this chanal, they appear in the search tap.

@@aleksitjvladica. you can block profiles and content from specific people and organizations on every other large social media platform other than RU-vid. If I'm searching for something, I'd rather not have my results be clogged up with cable news commentary from Fox, CNN, MSNBC, Jimmy Kimmel, ect. I specifically use RU-vid to avoid watching cable programming.

Yes, it is indeed, I totally agree. I want to inform myself about news in the world and unwanted u tube videos appear that have nothing to do with the subject. I am being stalked by vicious individuals who infringe on my privacy at work every day and interfere in my life with their sick and twisted views of their highly questionable behaviors while spewing vulgarity and profanity, not to mention literally pretend they can just take over my private life. Their sick minds make me sick every day, I have never witnessed so much abnormalcy in my entire life.

Right. It would be nice if RU-vid did everything to keep my kids safe... but I don't put that responsibility on them, I put it on myself as a parent.

@@NateWoodbury Based on the utter lack of controls entirely within their power that RU-vid does not provide parents to do exactly that - the only solution is really to not allow kids on RU-vid. Which is not a solution - there's tons of great content for kids. We need less parent shaming and less making excuses for huge surveillance capitalists.

Whenever I search something on RU-vid I make it a habit to put "-india -hindi". This way I block 90% of Indian contents.
