what i love about riding in the mtns. even when things go wrong like a sled breaking or crashing you can always just sit there and enjoy the scenery before the next step.
Looks like everybody heard what I heard it was running like ship the minute you started it you could have saved it by turning around never mind that where the hell were you riding that was beautiful riding country
This is his second motor with only 2k miles on it LOL my polaris 800 Liberty had over 6k on it when i traded it in and it's still going stong LOL get outta here you bias little boy! Go teach how to be gay boy! LOL
lowrider94ss something Polaris did first? How about make the first snowmobile? Legendary clutching that to this day I see brp riders upgrading there stock shit to LOL, even the Polaris gripper ski is known to be the best in the industry and many people upgrade to them. Hey if you're still not convinced just take a look at the market shares! Polaris is one of the biggest in the world annnnd if I'm not mistaken brp got bailed out by the government last year... sad lol keep dreaming buddy!
lowrider94ss hey man take a look a the market shares all I got to say! the money doesn't lie bro, I think you may be slightly delusional and probably butt hurt.. but hey it's okay to be the bitch who keeps coming up talking about dildos and gays (which there is nothing wrong with) and the first snowmobile was a Polaris and the p85 clutch is legendary haha you do your research and you will find out what I'm talking about. I'm not proud I'm just using facts my friend..
Kason Schultz I am also a skidoo fan. But they do seem to blow up a lot. The other brands have had their problem sled's too though. I think if I bought a skidoo again (I switched to a Polaris). I'd mix a little oil in the gas. They seem to go as a result of oil starvation. From what I hear, mixing a little in the gas helps them last. Polaris is the opposite. I go through so much oil it's insane, but the sled hasn't blown up yet, lol.
Hello would it be okay to use this video in a snowmobile stuck/fail compilation? I would give full credits as well as a link to your channel in the description.
@@caterpillar6nz310 ski doo always has been a joke. I have always rode with ski doo guys and if those things weren't breaking down than they weren't off the trailer.
Polaris' copy of E-TEC on the 850 is a joke. What's next? A copy of the revolutionary shot starter? My point is that BRP is the innovator. Polaris Just copies them and calls it something else. The same thing goes for using variable exhaust ports. Ski-Doo did that in 1989. Polaris didnt until 10 years later (1999)
I've seen a few videos of these machines now.. that motor with the CVT ina motorcycle chassis would be INSANE lol sorry your motor blew up man, I love how you just reflect in silence there in the snow after she quits hahahaha
I dont hear that it sounding to bad. 5200 miles (about 800 km) without reoiled bearings or change of pistons? You should send that one back to Ski-doo because it must be a world record. Usally they break down between 3000 and 4000 miles.
William Stewart yes they did, but they still make the 800, if you have enough for an 800, just save up more and get the 850 etec. it will be more reliable in the long run.
My tundra extreme just did that same thing it has a 1000 miles on it. I was out ice fishing and it went into limp mode Cound go over 30mph noud knocking sound in the engine. Conks out every few minutes and wont idle unless I give it th gas.I have no idea what happened
You just sat there at the end because you knew what you did….. you knew it was running poorly and decided to ignore it…. Then it seized and you were having the regretful thoughts of ignoring maintenance and troubleshooting your sled before riding it again….
dude 2:12 that's straight skyrim wilderness....how the hell do yall get home when you do shit like this?! Here in FL we can just call seatow when we get stranded out in the water but who do you call?! Snowtow lol?
The other way is to just take the belt out and have your buddy pull you home with a tow rope, but you have to stay on it and do the brakes and I wouldn’t want to do that in deep snow.
It must have had symptoms long time ago, but it happens so gradually that one get used to it and think its normal. Anyway, its annoying to know that these things can be avoided in 90% of the cases if one just had bought a yamaha instead, but once again people somehow gotten used to other brands having problems half the winter and waiting for parts the rest of the winter. When a yamaha fails one can get the parts before the snow melted.
ive got two 09 nytros and with 5000km or 3000miles the ball joints went out from super heavy front end these nytros are also hard on relay hyfax and ski skags and the fact that if the key snaps off or relay/batt dies theres with back-up pull start is always in the back of my mind Never roll these onto there side oil leaks out all threw engine bay including belt Not good in deep powder
Even if a four stroke machine is turbocharged... Yes the sled will dwarf the two strokes in climbing and speed. Yes they are FAR MORE reliable but they are far more expensive to maintain and the sled is a HEAVY TANK!!!
Bought a 09 8r a couple months ago rode it for about 300 km and on afternoon while riding it shits off rolls to a stop five mins later fires back up only to die right before my drive way. After that it was back firing at low idle. Please help.
