For black people of the diaspora targeting South Africa and west Africa is a move I think more of us should consider. In South Africa specifically they have a lot of cultural similarities to us in black America due to apartheid and love a lot of our media. Also cross cultural exchange amongst any diaspora just seems like an obvious thing to tap into when the love is already there anyways 💯

This reminds me of Tyla. She was not that popular in south africa, but other countries appreciated her music because its "unheard of". Now she's a super star in south africa, became more famous when she won a grammy.

I am finding less and less producers care whether who uses AI & who doesn't just because the majors are the only ones feeling the pressure. I went ahead & got a job. I also still do my music, & have used AI elements but its less a concern for me. You're talking about "global" so yes, i am aware a strategy is needed to be put in place.

OK I live in the Chicago area and when I did the downtown video, my coworkers found it on TikTok and everybody thought it was great, but Chicago isn’t the type of city artistically that Atlanta is because part of the thing that they was saying is they never know anybody who even tried it because here folks just hang around the block if they even do, rap it's not a rapper/art city (straight paperwork here) I think it’s different in Atlanta and San Francisco and other areas were art, in all forms is taking seriously as a profession PS I have lived in Atlanta.
