Here's how to blur a custom region in Descript. Descript includes a Blur video effect that blurs the entire video. In this tutorial, I show you a workaround to allow you to achieve a regional or custom region blur on a video in Descript.
It involves a quick trick using sequences and the crop feature, but it achieves the desired result. Until Descript implements a region blur natively, this is a good way to do it and keep your entire workflow inside Descript.
