600 fps holy lmfao. i didnt think it could ever go that high when it comes to games. i always thought 360 was the max. great tutorial i never knew about the settings ini document
Amd fsr does not enable unless you have a render scale that's not 100%, it will engage at 99% and 101%. The sharpening filter will apply in the second pass after the fsr scaler works, if you want slightly better input latency while still using fsr then 0 on the sharpening is what you would set it at, but it's negligible. Also gsync only works if you are under your monitor's refresh rate. At 600 fps, gsync is not triggered. If you want gsync for tear free experience then cap your frames in game 3-4 frames under your refresh, if you have gsync or gsync compatible monitor on Nvidia cards using reflex, you can / should also enable vsync under Nvidia control panel graphics settings to "on", you will not incur the same input latency issues as standard vsync when paired with gsync and reflex
If going above your refresh rate, cap your fps where you are only getting 80-90 percent gpu utilization for best input latency, do not run full tilt as you will incur additional input latency, reflex works in many ways as a pseudo frame limiter that dynamically limits frames to provide you very similar effects
I always hear this about gsync because of the videos battlenonsense put out like 3 years ago but I don’t believe it. I think if gsync is rated to a frame rate it works at that frame rate, despite what he says and what nvidia caps it at at auto low latency. Where ppl mess up is that gsync 240hz isn’t rated to 240 it’s usually like 239.9 so u set to 239. That’s how I personally feel though, I feel the motion is more smooth and feels more responsive than if I gimp it to a weird value and add hitching (yes I know gsync is supposed to prevent hitching)
If you tab out often, I wouldn't recommend disabling full screen optimisations as you'll likely get a black screen for about 10 seconds each time, but if you can manage it then the fps boost might be worth it A quick tip if you tab out often and notice that your FPS drops over the course of a session, try disabling the reduce buffering option, clicking apply and then re-enabling and it should fix itself :)
As other's has mentioned if you want Amd fsr 1.0 to take effect, it only takes activates if you have a render scale set to higer or lower than 100% , like 99% or 101%🙂
Guys I am here 2024 may, I just want to thank you, I have been sturggeling with fps for years and after seeing this! My computer only had 60 fps before, but after this I got 100s of fps THANKS!
pretty good, but I wouldn't recommend people disable fullscreen optimizations anymore. All recent input lag and fps testing that has come out shows it being at least as fast as legacy exclusive fullscreen, if not faster in some cases, while providing better frame times. The setting was absolutely horrible for a long time, but microsoft optimized it sometime in 2022 and it is performing on par now. If you for whatever reason are on an older W10 build though before it was fixed, then ofcourse disable it still. Reflex also overrides reduced buffering as it takes complete control of the frame buffer. Verified with input latency tests by Klasbo. So seeing as reduced buffering still has the alt tab bug where it can ruin your fps after an alt tab requiring the setting to be toggled off/on again. It's better to leave it disabled and just use reflex if you have an nvidia card.
ik this is old but please turn on antialiasing if you’re on 1080p. the jagged edges are insane. also the upscaling may actually lower your framerate running all low graphics settings because your cpu bound atp and that would push it to even more cpu
thx man, went from +-230fps and drops in fights to 130 to stable 430 and 370 in fights, even though my refresh rate is 144Hz, the game feels much smoother
I now have ~28 fps :D, no I'm not joking. 28, not 128 or 328 or something. I always knew I didn't have a goof FPS rate, but like holy shit with all those optimizations it's still only 28 FPS :(
I use a laptop, im genuinely good at fps games but i barely have FPS at ow2 lol, if i had capped 60s i would be happy, lemme see if this works Edit: Big fail, in fact, i think it got worse than the default game. But i liked the settings and tips he gave tho, definetely gonna use the battlenet and in game settings. But i think i was being quite cocky after seeing the comments thinking i would get like a 30 fps boost or something, but it really didnt change anything, but my guess is that it didnt work because i dont have a nvidia so i skipped the whole nvidia part. Tell me if you also had a frustrating result in the comments, idk if im the only one where it didnt work. Ps: i use a laptop because i live in a country where the pricing for a good setup is high, i pretend to buy a better pc in the future but until then im looking for a solution for my problems with fps games
got the same thing and I'm on a pc, dunno why, my lag spikes have increased and I get weird errors while playing, will try switching up a few things back to how they were.
Im playing on an nvidia gtx 660 and i sometimes get freezes or fps drop im usually arround 60 fps but it drops to 11 or 7. I dont know if i can trust this so can some people that tried it tell their experience? I'd really appreciate it thanks.

its because you capped your fps to your monitor's refreshrate like he said. thats normally bad because it gives a huge tear when playing games. usually people recommend to cap it lower than your refreshrate or higher. do some research on that but for 240hz monitors its common to cap at 225. the guy that made the video just jumbled up unverified fishoil techniques and called it a day. this is why i usually refrain from watching optimization guides on yt unless it is from a verified individual.

Btw how did u get your taskbar to look like the windows 10 taskbar like on the right side for me I'm on windows 11 it shows the internet and the sound merged like together but for you it looks different I want to know how u got it because it kinda irritates me
@@mcovr Think its honestly all default, if you want to hide the things on the right corner of the taskbar just right click anywehre and you should be able to uncheck some options
