Mine goes thru the whole process, but still loads back up to activation lock, I have tried 4 times Is there something I'm missing?

Hello, good evening, I've already done this process, but the macbook is blocked with the previous owner's icloud account (I'll have to buy a motherboard to solve this, thanks)

In target Mac, I hold down combine key as you said but it turns on and go to recovery mode. Nothing show DFU in helper Mac. Can you help me why ?

After latest update 13.4 Ventura, my MacBook air m1 screen turns black 😢 everything is on ,siri works properly. But the screen is black. Can dfu solve this?

this does not work i have a 13 in macbook pro m1 2020 and using a mac mini m1 to try and revive it ...the key combination does not work ive done it to the exact instructions and it just starts up to the exclamation mark. and not dfu mode ..apple couldnt tell me why ...looks like a 1600 dollar paper weight. ..lookin to switch back to PC. very soon I have 3k worth of mac junk if anyone is interested lol

Pls try again. The timing of pressing the combination key must be really accurate and pls ensure both macbooks connected to the correct port

I have MacBook Pro 2016 i7 and MacBook Air 2020 M1 with an activation lock on it and seems to be working right now as we speak but I will update if it actually does. I did have to look for the DFU mode in the config app because it didn’t poop Lon the app like it did here

Put the USB C cord into a different slot, it will read it then. Your device is most likely already in DFU mode from pressing the buttons but the cord will only read from another slot. Mine was the slot closest to the tab button and not the one closest to the screen

After running revive I'm getting the message "The system cannot be restored on this device. The device is not connected [ConfigurationUtilityKit.error - 0x25B(603)]
