Josh your content is so fucking dope! I've smashed the subscribe button! Could you maybe do a breakdown of cbd by brakence? The intro probably might be the moonlight effect you talked about over here but I'm still a bit confused. It'd be amazing if you could talk about it a bit more in depth. Once again thank you so much bro. Can't wait to see you hit 10k! ❤
@@JNABS I really liked that you showed off electric sunburts as an alternative in this video - I'd love to see you use it to create like the more 'strummed' type guitars such as in dropout by brakence!
@@JNABS something i think would be good for your channel is to collab with more people who make the hyper pop/indie music bats too on YT. make beats with similar producers so both of your audiences can merge, it's a win-win. i love your vids man
Hey man, I haven’t heard of keeping the bass in mono until I came across your videos. I do master in ozone as well, what does making sure the bass is in mono do? Thank you! Great vid 😊
Hey christian thanks for watching the video! glad you enjoyed it! the reason I usually keep my bass in mono is because the human ear can't even localize or tell stereo information below like 80hz and so for me its just a waste of stereo information to have the bass that low be stereo. I want a really clear stereo image so i would prefer my main instruments and vocal to really fill up the sides. I find that this helps my mix really be as clean and as powerful as possible. The tracks that hit the hardest to me usually have really solid center elements (kick, snare, bass) and then have everything else on the side. The things in the middle are what provide the weight and power to the track. Another reason is because if you have your bass stereo you can run into phase issues if your song is ever played on a mono speaker. at the end of the day make sure to trust your ears. these are just opinions and my personal experience. hopefully that answers your question!
Haven’t heard it, I’ll check it out and if I have some insight I’ll definitely do that. Is there anything you’d like to see me cover about it specifically?
