For anyone interested: If you do choose to kill Eno Hlaalu, you retrieve *every* sanguine item you've given him off of his corpse. While not the best enchanted items around, a couple of them are notable exceptions. Some of them give enchantments that are far greater than anything you can make for yourself, even when scumming intelligence, and because you can layer clothing + armor, these pieces gain utility as a result. 4 pieces of the collection have no quests relating to them and no hints that the carrier owns the item. So it's unlikely you're going to find them naturally. The reward is incredible, however. The spell taught includes the "fortify attack" effect, unique in being the only spell that grants this effect. Since you need to know a spell before you can create enchantments/future spells with the effect, you'll definitely want this spell, given Fortify Attack is easily one of the strongest effects in the game.
@@sakurikunikai7564 fortify attack increases your hit percentage for melee and ranged attacks. In the late game, there are a LOT of enemies and bosses that utilize, frankly, bullshit combinations of insanely high agility, luck, and sanctuary effects (reduces chance of being hit), plus effects like 80%+ resist/reflect magic. They force you to use weapons, but then make it so it's insanely difficult to actually hit with the weapon. Basically the entire finale of blood moon and tribunal require a lot of meta gaming in order to win, and while not the flashiest way to do it, fortify attack can help a loooooot simply by bypassing their ridiculous dodge chances.
Man, this is such a cool way of presenting! I was so into this, that I didn't catch how those 26 min passed, I was just staring, laughing and totally impressed by this! It shows how I usually play games, talking to myself, having some discussions with myself, trying some strats and moves. Purely amazing my man!
“And by the fact that your character runs like he has to take a shit right now, it’s an emergency, get outta the way!” This is the funniest thing i’ve ever heard
As someone who stared with skyrim and then went to morrowind and oblivion Yeah At the start they feel unplayable especially morrowind. Great games just really hard to get into
This beginning (of the gameplay) is almost exactly how I started EVERYTIME. I now have a strong nostalgia rush from the 8th grade. I played on the OG Xbox and I was usually a Nord instead of redguard. Thanks for the memories Strat.
I hope you realise my family are not going to see me over Christmas now because I am going to end up re-installing Morrowind and won’t probably re-join humanity until Mid Jan. 🤦🏼♂️🤣
Man I really look forward to every one of your videos. Great as a rewatch too for me. Really like your humor! I even catched it when it was releasing, didn’t even know that was a thing, thought you were streaming live on yt.
The real build guide was the lesson on roleplaying we learned along the way. Fr tho I respect the shit out of you for promoting actually role playing. It's what can turn a good experience into an excellent one.
@@StratEdgyProductions when I started to get bored in fallout new vegas the other I decided to roleplay a little. My character was someone who was there when the bombs fell then woke up one day in good springs and in the beginning he thought that every then was normal but when he was helping sunny smiles he seen these giant lizerds running at him he then realized that it was actually a wastland. In the beginning he could not use guns at all the thought of harming some else scared him then years later the thought of hurting someone did not even bother him. After years of searching he finally found his killer but he was unable to shoot the guy he seen him and went back to being scared to course harm so he met and just had a freandly conversation with him. He then settled down in the mojave and never bothers with the legion or ncr or house
Strat Edgy I love your vids man and by following this guide with a redguard character that had only done two quests, you've completely opened up the game for me, I can't believe how immersive it is, and its crazy to finally see parts of the game I've never seen like the people living in mushroom houses and such (when I was a kid I really sucked at this game and never really got better) My dad made me a redguard and I was doing alright for myself and got to around level 5. anyways sorry for the long message I just wanted to let you know how much your video has helped me find a new game to love!h
Also saving that argonian felt amazing, can’t wait to see what you put out next :) also I’m very appreciative of your heart on my comment! I edited out a small spelling error and it removed it though ;-;
"This is the ATF open up, you need to have a good character build to get anywhere in this game!" "I LOVE SUJAMA AND ALCHEMY I LOVE SUJAMA AND ALCHEMY I LOVE SUJAMA AND ALCHEMY!!!
Beautiful, I can't watch this yet though. I have yet to play through their campaign and I was going to with my brother on the multiplayer mod this upcoming holiday.
AoEing him is letting the guy off too easily. I made a high value burden spell that lasts for a solid period of time. Honestly, I would recommend giving the multiplayer mod a try to anybody thinking about it. It's pretty well done in all honesty. Hosting a server with a few people you know is a blast.
I havent seen a second of this video yet but thank you so fucking much for bringing me this video one day after starting my first morrowind character in 7 years Im now sitting down on a 40 min trainride from a 11 hour shift. Gonna boot up morrowind and fall asleep saying and love every minute until then.
Here's a build for maximum power at low levels: Male nord for the resistances and crazy hidden movespeed, with the lady, lover, or steed signs depending on taste, Stealth specialization with endurance and strength. Take enchanting, mercantile, shortblade, athletics, and restoration. Minor a bunch of utility skills, shortblade is all you'll ever need. If you want to use the boots of blinding speed, replace athletics with security, marksman, or light armor. There's a set of orcish armor in ghorak manor in caldera. Sell it for quick cash, then use that and your mercantile to bribe and haggle your way to as much money as you want. Make a spell fortify int 100-200 for a second or two and a low-powered soultrap for enchanting. Buy a bunch of expensive rings to use for low-level enchanting, including a bound chestplate/cuirass for as long as it'll still cost 1 charge. (Now you no longer need real armor.) When you get a decent sized soul, a strong 1 second drain agility on hit dagger will knock anyone over on a hit. (Jiggle duration slider to avoid the 0 duration glitch.) Eventually pick up the best weapon in the game, the fang of ha... I'm not spelling that. If you're playing OG morrowind and not open morrowind, you can make machine guns via rings of 1 charge elemental damage. Open forces the effect to take a full 1 second duration instead of being instant, but it makes summon AI better, so 3 or 4 second summon atronachs work as a substitute cheese. Enchanting mostly replaces magic skills, only high-cost effects remain impractical. Short blade replaces all weapon skills. It staggers and stun locks better than anything else, levels quickly, and has incredible dps. Light armor is ok, but bound cuirass makes most armor obsolete for no weight cost. The best defense in morrowind is a good offense anyway. Mercantile is the ultimate quality of life skill. You can get most things with money, including more money with some haggling.
I know a few people that say they loved Morrowind, spent hundreds of hours playing it. But when you ask them: "Isn't Morag Tong much more fun and interesting than Dark Gayhood?" They answer: "Mora what?" They have never found that quest line. That's why I love this weird old-school game :-D
They are both shit. I have no idea why people hate on DB and love MT, when the whole “quest line” is just endless “go to place, kill a guy” how’s killing generic ashlander in a yurt different from killing generic homeless man in Skyrim?
@@max7971 I don't hate on DB quest lines, I actually like MT and both Oblivion and Skyrim DB questlines. What I like more about MT is the lore and tradition. Of course the quests are pretty similar and not very special, unless you immerse yourself into the lore.
The Morag Tong was awesome. Is still awesome. That's what I always do get the boots of blinding speed and a resist magicka effect and use that before equipping the boots.
Pretty sure Todd intended you to fortify int/ personality + spell trap 100x then flip 2 win and buy all training then fly around at the speed of sound lobbing nukes at everything.
Noob at morrowind here BUT an easy 650 gold is the silver platter on the shelf right after you pick up your release papers and before you do anything else if you drop it out of your inventory immediately. Guard will chastise you and then you can just pick it back up. If you're quick you can grab more stuff
If you do the tax man quest right you can get 700 gold, 300 from the far goth quest, +~250 from the tax man ring, ~500 from skill books in the guy who killed the tax mans house and the lighthouse. I never leave sedya neen without at least 2000 gold
Ive never actually built anything in Morrowind I would just steal the Ebony darts rob the Dren plantation find the scamp and then start hitting up the master trainers
I go breton mage with stealth and marksman and use the most op cheese move in the game, bound bow. Bound bow is 2-50 damage plus a boost to marksman and you can get it with 25 conjuration.
Thank you. I love seeing nee content on my Faaay Vore Ite game. Bingo 🎯. *Pssssst* boots of blinding speed + spell resistance. That way you negate the blind.
The one thing that really kept me from enjoying Morrowind is the slow movement speed in the beginning. I know it gets much better later on, but I just couldnt get passed it.
So many other youtubers do this skit-based presentation and fuck it up because they go overboard with how obnoxious the characters are. It was very smart to not portray the sidekick as an insufferable moron. Keeping the narrative engaging by making both characters relatable was not only clever, but necessary. Involving your son in writing the sidekicks reaction or asking his input on it should be a surefire way to ensure that happens. Great stuff, as usual.
Thank you for your support and feedback. It is the fans who make this a great channel and we are working hard at developing the entertainment value while keeping the content quality high. Spread the word and continue giving us feedback. We read your comments and take the input seriously and love it (Strat wifey)
@@tcs5000 That is amazingly wholesome to have the entire family behind this. I'd wish you all luck, but you won't need it. I recommend reaching out to SsethTzeentach, MandaloreGaming, UpperEchelonGaming who also put out content of amazing quality. Whether a collab work, or just goofing off on a stream would "sell" like discount deep-fried heroin in Glasgow. Wish you guys all the best!
Stealth never made sense for me in this game to me now an orc barbarian with the atornach stone that was a playthrough nothing complicated just axe everything
@@Largentina. true but his most popular videos are on the elder scrolls, its likely he's dipping into them to make some money. Which is fine, but diverse content is important. He's been making diverse content for a while. I like that stuff. And frankly I dobt know the ongoings of his audience data, but I have seen tons of smaller Channels as they grow start to specialize in one type of content because it makes them money. I suppose I just don't want that to happen even if my evidence for this is ill founded
In the first cave where daddy collects the gold near the end (first skeleton) there's a thief ring on the ground hidden in the textures. Easy early game enchantment for +5 agility, speed, and personality... I swear more than half my playtime is coming up with opening strats lol
Jesus, I had forgotten what it feels like to truly role play! When older guy was explaining it to that slick-ass youngster I recalled the times I used to play games in that way. Goddamn man, I'm getting old lol. This was fan-titty-tastic!
Bruv, let me tell you... This shit right here is the reason I didn't start doing this full time three years ago when the channel had traction. I noticed that other creators get all their views in the first few days, and mine take months of slow burns and people sharing the link on social media. My videos stop getting impressions after the first hour of being posted. Impressions being the metric that shows how much youtube is showing it to people. Like, I will have 4000 impressions and 1800 views and somehow my CTR is 7% instead of 50%. Something fishy about that shit, to be honest. Either my thumbnails suck, titles suck, or both, but I thought a 8 to 5 % CTR was good. Apparently it is not. Shrug, I don't know if youtube knows their own algo at this point.
This is really entertaining way to make "how to" videos. Rather than boring "assign X, do Y" through entire vid, it has more character and therefore more interesting. I'd watch more vids like that.
This is actually a really interesting and funny format, as someone who already enjoys your content but thought this was an improvement I look forward to your future content 🔥
The Morag Tong is so good I had to write fanfiction about it. Somehow I'm one of very few fic authors who used the Eno Hlaalu tag on AO3, which is a shame because it's such a fascinating faction.
