Scripture says a husband is to love his wife, but it states that the wife is to respect/reverence her husband, but does not use the word love. Ephesians 5:22-23. Just over 12 years before I was born. God told Mom of my foreseen birth. This kept from me until I was about 14. Called out by my sister to my Mom (age5) before an F4 hit our house we were inside. God protected us. This is my Jubilee year. Ty Lord. ❤❤❤❤
God knows your future before you do. His plan is individually created for you. It comes down to knowing that God has better intentions for you than you do even for yourself.
Many wonder what is my purpose on earth, in my lifetime. I often wondered this. Losing my mother when I was 12 years of age, losing my only sibling when I was 15 years of age and then was growing up in a foster home. Then one day, many years later, I realized my life was a journey to discover myself and to grow my faith in God. Many years passed and I now am thankful for each day and thank God for every blessing that I receive. I truly know that God has a plan for every one of us here on earth.

Jesus I've asked you to reveal your love for me today. That's all I need is to know your love. I've been so sinful. I fear you may take me home today and I want you to give me more time here on earth so that I can be a father to my son and work again and live for You Jesus.
This was a good reminder. I was just praying this morning about how my lifelong depression has centered around destroyed relationships that I don't know how to fix. I must be holding myself responsible for their destruction, since, as Autistic, I don't understand why they hurt me or how I am supposed to respond. I end up mad at myself for not knowing the right words or actions to heal the brokenness. I can fawn to Narcissists ok, but eventually the fawning doesn't work anymore, because I end up freezing in trauma and going no contact. At that point I've lost the relationship, and I blame myself for giving into the fear of their abusiveness. I can commit myself to continuing to love them, but I am clueless about how to put that into practice.
Please don't hold yourself responsible for someone else's feelings or lack of feelings. A narcissist grooms you into a relationship with fake kindness, I like the same things you do and so on. Then when they are bursting at holding their true feelings, hurting you comes out. "Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't mean that, I won't do it again, then the behavior just goes back and forth until you don't know what to believe anymore. But just know for a true fact you didn't cause their behavior. They are responsible for their own. Stay to yourself until you understand you. Write down what's important to you in a relationship. When you meet someone who could possibly be a love interest. Sit down down with that piece of paper. Go over the list. Check off what you see in that person. If they show true good and kindness, keep checking your list about what's important to you. Now that you really know how a narcissist acts, you will see them more clearly. I wish you the very best.
Amen but if your husband is abusive you cannot live together with him to protect yourself when you are precious for God and need to take care of yourself. If a husband is abusive you cannot live together with him but not divorce when marriage is a covenant. I do not know your situation but God loves you and take care of yourself! I see many comments here on permissible limits to our forgiveness of others. Thank goodness he puts no limits on forgiving us. I'm not saying you should keep people in your life that cost you your peace or salvation, but if you want to be forgiven, you should forgive, it's about you, not them. To forgive is to love and love is the only thing I know that can win over evil. Salvation is the name above all names, spread the love.
Going through my divorce I said to my wife I still Love you she just laughed at me and said you need to move on. 😢 Married over 25 years 3 children..it took a long time. Now I don’t look back.

Rabbi this should be taught to people who are getting married and people who been married for years period. It not a choice but we choose to love and forgive. That what YESHUA SAID. AND HE IS OUR EXAMPLE PERIOD.
A person that abused me died, and a few months later they signaled me from the other side. I realized what was happening. This person needed my forgiveness before they could move on. One day I was alone and I talked to this person, that was listening intently. I explained my feelings to them which I never got to do when they were alive. In the end, I said "I forgive you". They were gone as soon as the words came out of my mouth. Words can mean life or death. Forgive and you will be forgiven. Love and you will be loved. I love you all, and God bless you all.

Yes,to love your enemies and also to honor your parents eaven if any of them did not show your love not being bitter! Yeshua also forgave in a tremendous suffering at the cross,mocked,hated,crucified and also was not bitter to the soldiers who crucified him and also gave his life for them! He who carried the biggest pain showed the way of forgiveness. The Bible also tells us to pray for they who persecute us, and to love our enemies,yes. Job and Joseph also were not bitter.

Not all mothers love their children. I have forgiven my mother for her evil against me all my life but now I finally had to distance myself because she was trying to destroy my family. I pray for her. I forgive her but it isn’t safe to be around her.

Don't get unequally yoked my brothers and sisters! There's no leaving your married partner, none, zip, zero ! 5, 8, 15, or 50 years; you, don't leave your marriage because you think you fell out of love! Marriage is about commitment and WILL, not feeling! The love you "feel" comes after!
There has to be an attraction to the wife or husband. When they say i no longer have a love for my partner anymore, they are saying there is no attraction. Attraction cannot be forced. We are either attracted or we are not????
Love is an action - not a feeling. Sometimes you have to act a certain way and the feelings will follow. If someone is abusive or adulterous, that’s a different matter.
