Heads up - breeding with color transferred flowers (like violet hibiscus) seems to be bugged but should be fixed when 1.6 comes out. So you can still make a violet hibiscus but you wouldn't be successful in mixing it with another hibiscus to make a new color rn (but you should be able to)

I’ve been doing things totally half hazard. I didn’t get a white dandelily but will now try with a bellbutton white gradient. Appreciate the help!😊

I ended up with a single orange dandelily after planting my first 10 or 15? native seeds and 1 more after I had planted probably 20-25. So it is possible! Just way more likely with fertilizer. And I think some colors are easier to get than others, even after getting fertilizer I only have one pink and no cream dandelilies
There are a few options: 1) make periwinkle in any other flower type and color transfer to hibiscus, 2) Make an indigo and a white hibiscus through color transfer from another flower type and breed them together, 3) make a white hibiscus, a blue hibiscus and a violet hibiscus through color transfer. Breed the blue and violet together to make an indigo hibiscus, breed the indigo hibiscus and a white hibiscus, 4) trade for any of the component flowers and turn them into seeds, 5) trade for a periwinkle hibiscus flower, turn it into a seed and plant
with the rng it may be possible to be missing a base color from the mystery seed capsules, You may be able to get them from the claw machine, from trading or via color transfer from another flower types that has the missing color
I really hope we’ll get a way to get non native flowers without multiplayer at some point, I don’t have red dandelilies. I either didn’t get one from the mystery seed packs or I accidentally composted it.
I was a little surprised the seed capsules guaranteed types but not the base colors of those types. The randomization meant most people did get 1 of each color, but occasionally not. At least for red, you could use the gradient transfer from a red tulia to get a red dandelily. But if you were missing sky from the pennstemum, you'd have no way to get it without multiplayer, since nothing else has it, unless something comes in 1.6, which is possible
@@sproutsiesprout The random ideas popped in my head that we could buy non native seeds from Wish me mell or get them from her boxes when we max out her friendship levels. And thankfully I have sky for pennstemum.

And I would be really surprised if this isn’t included, since the game seems to be all about being player friendly and you mentioned upcoming features such as flowers being stacked in the inventory (which I really need because my flower inventory looks like a huge mess and will only get messier as I get more colors). Edit: Using the gradient transfer strategy you mentioned right now, since I have a gradient red tulia I’m very proud of.
for the ones that are base colors - planting your native seeds or the ones from wish me mell, for the others via a color transfer by breeding a red ombre of any flower type with any color of the flower type you need to be red
If you didn't fill in absolutely every plot, you are probably fine. If you did, then you probably have a lot for fertilizer and maybe have gotten some gradients? You could always free up some space here and there by digging some up - especially 2 of the same color together, dig one up, leave the other to see what happens if you want some new ones to spawn

Just fertilizing solids and hoping- There's a tiny chance the flower will get a pattern (gradient/ombre in most cases) each time you fertilize it. Once they go gradient, they do not go back to solid.
