Yeah all green svs are fine for pve and ladder. Perfects are mostly only necessary for tournaments, but they're still nice to have regardless

I forgot to put this in the video but if you want to just do competitive ladder matches, you don't need perfect temtem since they autoscale to perfect temtem. You do need perfect temtem if you just play against friends or enter tournaments or dojo wars

@@Millarz I spent a lot of time training TVs, and I won 2 out of 10 matches. Then I saw a competitive player win a match with baby tem, and I realized I just suck. I'm going to play competitive without TVs or SVs until I learn about battling competitively. Increasing stats just to learn is too costly.

@@cassascorner611 You probably watched Workman aka 8bitten. He's super nice and amazing at little cup. He knows his team really well. You're probably not going to learn much if you don't tv train your temtem. TV training changes the outcome of battles so much. Even if you do learn things, what you've learned will be thrown out the window when you TV train because the stats will be entirely different

Breeding momo is easier now that mimit are in the game. Mimit are like ditto in pokemon if you've played that before

@DepressednWondering It is worth noting that now Egg Technique Courses are a thing (albeit expensive), even tem available now that get more egg moves later might be useful if you get one.

You should ask the #competitive channel in the official discord. I'm not super keeping track of the meta right now. Kinu and volarend are definitely some of the best temtem. This tier list is fairly up to date too: temtactics.gg/tierlist

Breeding is still beneficial for some endgame content like the grit arena, safari, and dojo wars to name a few. I don't think the need will dwindle because of that, though a player could also get away with not needed any perfects if they're not interested in these activities

I recorded another video on how to get multiple egg moves onto a perfect temtem. It's going to take me a while to edit it though ^^' Competetive temtem usually sell for about 32k

well i managed to breed one for myself with lighting custodian, tho i had to try twice since the first had rested but i am now broke :D i also managed to put the egg move in it wich saddly i didnt do for nidrassil.

Unfortunately no :/ If it has 7 fertility you can still use it to breed perfects though!

Perfect temtem help you in dojo rematches and in tournament matches. Not all PVP matches scale temtem to the max. Only ladder matches do

You can use it for that step so long as it has at least 6 fert. Sometimes you'll get lucky and get a temtem with two compatible perfect SVs with 7 fert. In that case, you can even use it twice!

Thank you :) I would not recommend breeding occluras at all for your first temtem! They have a 6:4 gender ratio and their eggmoves are complicated to get since you need to breed it with a starter. I didn't do a slower paced videos since I figured people could just slow down the video if I was talking too fast. A few people have expressed that the video is fast and overwhelming though, so I might make a slower video that is more easy to follow along step by step that also includes how to breed eggmoves in the future! Thanks for the feedback. It's very helpful!

Yes, everything works the same. The only addition is there are now mimit temtem that work like ditto so you can use them as breeding stock as well!

I suggest using radars to get your breeding stock. The stats are better for radar encountered temtem once you've caught/killed something like 100 of them

That works! You can also breed the 5svs with the perfects. I do that usually as well

That's a great choice! Vulffy does have one eggmove now but it's easy to get on her and not even necessary to have on her (unless you're selling them. I do recommend putting the eggmove on your vulffys if you're selling them)

oof yowlar is HARD. It's a 5%er with a 25% female chance. Plus one of its eggmoves is from neutral koish. I would not recommend breeding yowlar unless you are rich. Mimit will be your friend once you get all the eggmoves onto yowlar since mimit will breed with males and result in eggs of the male's species

@@alexanderluna4598 Inner Spirit is a Melee technique that only Skunch and the Smazee line can learn naturally. Adoroboros can only learn it if a Skunch or Smazee family with the move breeds with a Mushook to produce a Mushi who then breeds with an Adoroboros. It’s really good to have on Adoroboros because it has a high base power, it’s a special move which compliments its base stats, and since it’s a Melee attack it offers coverage against Crystal and Earth Tems. If you plan on using an Adoroboros for competitive battling, Inner Spirit is an incredibly useful tool.

@@slabulous00 Dang you're lucky! Upon rethinking it, I take back what I said about breeding perfect temtem with 5% lumas though. You're much better off breeding a 5% luma with another luma to have 10x better odds for another 5% luma baby

It really depends. Before radars, it took me hours and hours. Now with radars, it takes as long as the radar takes and that's pretty much all you need unless you get unlucky

It's because kinu has a bad gender ratio. You want to start off with temtem that have a 50/50 gender ratio unless you want to use mimits. Mimits work like ditto in pokemon

@@Millarz Saying kinu gender ration is bad without elaborating isn't great since and 80:20 ratio in favor of females is not what anyone would normally consider a bad ratio. A bad gender ratio is almost exclusively used to refer to a species that favor's males over females since as unlikely what you listed for kinu males weighted species will actually require mimit to be breed effectively. Kinu is actually one of the easier temtem to breed if you can acquire the 1 or 2 you actually need, since you can replace all the males and the majority of the rest of the breeding tree with other natural or mental temtem as they are cheaper to obtain. The only disadvantage kinu has is that breeding from a perfect speed kinu may result in 2 females in the 3 step of the breeding process. Theoretically your correct that kinu is potentially a bad first temtem to breed since the optimal method to breed them is to slot them into a seperate nature of mental breeding tree. But it is likely one of the easier 7 SV temtem to obtain due to being signifcantly less likely to hit a male breaking the breeding chain.

Sorry, I'm not really sure what you mean. It's not possible to breed non-stop since every time you breed, it uses one fertility

With the introduction of mimit, it's not as much of a problem to do temtem with skewed gender ratios. However, if the temtem you're breeding has a lot of eggmoves then skewed ratios still can make it a pain since mimit doesn't have the eggmoves to pass on to its offspring. What temtem in particular are you thinking of breeding?

I'm looking into breeding some amplings, but since they are 65/35 it makes me a little cautious on that part, I haven't really looked into egg moves for them yet but hopefully they won't be too much of an issue. Thank you for the helpful advice too, it's much appreciated!

Ampling is a little complicated since you need two different species to pass down 3 eggmoves. If it's your absolute first time breeding I wouldn't recommend it but it also isn't the hardest temtem to breed. It's up to you if you really want to breed an ampling

@@Millarz I decided to go ahead with it and so far so good! There have been a few tiny setbacks with the skewered genders but it's nothing too big of a loss at this moment in time. Hopefully with a little bit of luck I'll have a batch of 7/7 SV 3/3 EM amplings very soon! :)

You end up with a lot of perfects to sell at the end of breeding it. That's why it's worth it. You'd have to be supremely unlucky to not have enough perfect temtem to make a profit assuming you're breeding a comp-worthy temtem

You don't have to breed temtem to be competitive. You can buy temtem that other people have bred pretty easily. It'll be even easier to buy once the auction house goes live

You really don't need to breed perfect temtem to compete at all. Temtem's SVs scale to perfect in ladder matches, you can get by with green sv temtem or bought temtem for dojo rematches, and you can just buy perfects if you want to do tournaments

Your effort doesn't totally go down the drain though. You can usually use the extra temtem you bred later on. I did that recently with the extra tuwai I bred actually. It allowed me to get even more tuwai in the long run

This is whats keeping me from diving into breeding tbh. Id rather just buy a perfect than go through all the trouble.

I've tried slowing down in my more recent videos. Is it too fast even then? If it is still too fast, is watching the videos on .75 speed a viable option?
