Very good question. Just Lithuania does not offer Nomad visas to non-EU nationals. So you should have a job, studies, or be a Permanent resident of Lithuania to stay here. That's exactly right. You should been working or living in Lithuania for at least 2 years. Definitely keep an eye on the Migracija website in case the policy changes in the future.

Absolutely. I think the process is even slightly easier for you if you are a Lithuanian citizen and your wife is not. The process is very similar to this video, the only difference is when you are migracija.lt your wife needs to choose that you're a citizen of Lithuania instead of a foreigner living in Lithuania. Your wife can also become a Permanent resident quickly once she arrives if she follows certain steps to apply for PR within 90 days of arrival. I really don't understand why I can't go with my wife only because she isn't working/living for 2 years in Lithuania, but if she was going for studies or ANYTHING ELSE I would be allowed to go and stay with her... This is non-sense!
