How to build a 1990 Honda Accord H22 Swap: Do it Nice or Do it Twice!

Met this guy when I was working at Pepboys,he came in to get rotors turned for that Lexus in the garage. Really friendly and genuine guy, he showed me his accord and I couldn’t get over those wheels lol and was happy to show him my G37. Happy to see him on RU-vid, deserves all the exposure he can get!

This is one of the two cleanest Accords I've seen in this chassis code. Years ago there was a green coupe dropped on 17s and DC Sport exhaust in Jax Florida. Used to LOVE driving by it and staring

this is super clean , I used to have a 5th gen prelude with a type s intake , you should try to find yourself one for this , it’s still practically “oem” but the intake is more aggressive

Brother, I really like to see the Honda love, but with such an awesome paint job, and the beautifully stanced and maintained exterior, the huge brakes, and I LOVE the H22 swap (it's an awesome engine), but I was kind of expecting to see a turbo or a supercharger attached to the engine given the amount of modification. It's your car and I can appreciate that it's made to be more of a reliable, easy to work on chassis, but there are reliable well-built turbo Hondas out there. They may be few and far between because guys usually get used to the power and want to turn it up, but my tuner has a B18A1 swapped EF hatch that has forged internals running on a Mitsubishi MHI small 16G that makes just over 400 whp and has been running like that for 7 years now. I'm not trying to down talk your car at all, it's beautiful, but it's capable of being so much more.

Love the rims on the Accord. While car is nice and clean, not over done. Just right!

Very nice, very nice. I have 1993 honda accord LX auto. It has a lot of rust damage on it (It's near 230,000 miles). I can only wish I could have a setup like this. Some of the power steering lines have went. I had to replace two of them. I got lucky because some of them didn't have a replacement part. I got a good used power steering line set off of ebay. Also, I did research, it is note worthy to know obviously you can build your own power steering line using a tube nut. Replacing the old one with a M12 x 1.0 Bubble flare nut (BR2200). I can't believe the mechanic tried to indicate to me he wont do the job unless they sell the part. This power steering line goes to the Speed Sensor from the Power steering gear box (4 power steering lines in total). The only new part they sell is the power steering line that goes to the pump itself. I'm going to have the timing belt done on mine. I'm not too impressed with this timing belt kits. I might return that. Maybe mitsubishi is a good belt. But I prefer honda???

This dude knows like literally a ton about Gen 4 and Gen 5 accords like literally a ton literally I mean like in the 2000 lb meaning when I say ton. And his custom approach describing his car was a nice touch and the performance gains achieved from the body panel upgrades are literally super one-offAnd exclusive

I miss my 1993 Accord so much! Was my first car and I modded it a little before having to sell it. I really want to buy another one and rebuild it from the ground up.

Me and my son are about to buy another Accord for his first car I have 00 Accord vtec just stock with some eBay stuff but we r going to get him maybe same yr but we r going to build it without ebay stuff he's working and saving money to get parts for it and I'm going to buy the car as his big Christmas gift and I'm happy to do it with him as father and son since my father was not there for me going to start a RU-vid channel so we can show our progress

I had a clean 91 in brown with 94 EX wheels a long time ago. I still miss driving it. It was almost stolen twice before some lady ate a red and took out the front.
