If anyone has an issue that the Mono which drops into the pot is NOT healing the others, just make sure your breeder is a tiny bit over the edge of the hole and use GREEN Monos. Hope this helps.
This is awesome and I'm so building one myself. Automation is key in this game. Just did the wheat farm I seen did not know markets could be used that way too. Props to the 5 creators this game has do much content and aspects to it
Fantastic! Still works today! You have the best easy-to-follow step-by-step instructions. I have my farm all set up for automated batteries! Thank you!
just a note, instead of making all that extra flooring, you could put walls up right in front of the generators, and a single floor with the chest and absorber. And if you put the chest right where the wall goes so that the absorber is on one side, and the chest the other, you can put a wall in between and completely seal off your battery collection area to get all those juicy batteries.
Sometimes the droppers can be very sloppy on how it shoots items out. You can always replace the floords with conveyer belts to go to a Floor and then have a chest with loader to pickup the items
That's a very good tip! yeah sometimes no matter how well you line it up it shoots out and ends up across the map 😂 i may have to implement that into my water collector as that seems to be worse for shooting in weird directions, Thank you very much! 👊🏻💚
Hey, I just came over your channel here, and I really like how you explain and show. Also this setup here is so easy to make, why didn't I have the idea ;) I have the game some weeks now, and I love it so much. I will watch some more videos here and then go and make my own battery farm :D Greetings from Germany
You my friend are a f*cking genius. Just finished making it. The market absorber at the end was an awesome surprise. Can't wait to see what else you come up with.
@@ColtZero this was something I was discussing in my live stream today and I think you're 100% right, they're adding dedicated servers soon and I want us to run the the biggest server ever! I think it would be super fun 👊 ill start one up and link it in a future guide 😊💚
I just stumbled onto this game last night, not sure if I'll be long term gaming because my true love is Old School Runescape, but it's a nice change of pace.
Try a monolith near your animals, it normally only helps when you stay on the island but seems to confuse the system a little bit, i hope it works for you
Ha, that's ridiculous. Here I was thinking of making some system where a dropper shoots prisms at cows from a breeder, they go onto a conveyor and through a sorter so prisms with cows in them are sorted from those without, then the prisms with cows are shot into generators, the prisms without get recycled. Kind of ridiculous how easy it is to make a generator from self healing green monos, but the alternative would be super finicky and tedious.
I've done something like this but for the pot and the market I added multiple droppers and absorbers to speed up the process as well as using them for my iron farm with crocodiles
I just recently got into this game. I seen few of your vidoes and it's helped me learn game. However this design although good hasn't worked well for me. As two reasons .. one being everytime I log on game all animals and monos (that are green) disspear and die . And I can't have 4 pigs only 3 as the heals don't heal last pig on end despite copued the design . Overall it's a good system and I looking at your videos now about more since not only handy but helped me learn game more
I think it would be a great playlist if you made a series of legit mechanic tutorials that show you the way things are invented to be done with no automation. Like, how to animals, how to crafting, how to farming, and so on... then you have a good base for people to learn the game at a level where they can see how everything works before automation. Just a suggestion, love the videos ❤
This has been working great! However, when I transfer maps all the animals, including monos, are wandering around when I come back to base. Any solution for this?
You actually only need one mono. When looking at the facility from the side with the pipe you should put the mono on the left side then whatever you wants on the other side.
I do agree but if you're going to catch a mono for one side then you may aswell catch 2, plus if someone is trying to make a automated battery farm they are probably a new player and don't need the pointless confusion 😊 I do mention this in my tips and tricks video though
@@Caztecx oh this is the only video I have seen so didn’t know you had mentioned it elsewhere. I figured it out when a skeleton wandered into my croc farm before I discovered green monos so conveyors would loop them. Btw if you don’t need as many batteries since monos reach 1 block above the breeder you can put the battery farms there then use the spaces around the pot for whatever you want. I have this set up for a three way animal farm and 2 battery farms. If you don’t want the items stuck in pots you can funnel them all into a pit with campfires. Just a 3x3 container kills everything and with a few absorbers you will be able to put them all in chests.
Any Help you need, let me know and ill assist you or make a video with a full guide! 🔥 Thank you for the support on the Craftopia Content, you're all amazing 🥰
@@Caztecx Is this game still trash? I haven't played it in months. Last time I did all my machines just started launching into the surrounding countryside. I gave up after that.
Has anyone has an issue using the pot to kill the monos to heal? Sometimes it says “you cannot produce more green monos at this time” or something along those lines. Is this because the pot filled up?
Is it possible to put another four generators underneath the second floor by the cooking pot, doubling the batteries produced? Or is the second floor too low?
Quick question. First off, I love your videos. I just came back after some time and decided to give the game another go. They heal fine, although the animal, in my case all cows, that is in the far right generator (While looking at the generators, breeder behind it) always dies. It does not get healed. The green healing numbers indicate that it does hit it, but alas. I've tried to move the breeder closer, tried to shuffle them all to the left a little and it still dies. Do you have any idea why this is? I did my own build first and though that might be the issue, but then I followed yours 1:1 and the right one still gets no healing.
hmm strange, if it is being hit by the healing is it possible its too high level for the monos to heal? higher level monos give out higher healing numbers, otherwise maybe drop down to 3 generators as you will still gain plenty of batteries, infact i run a single generator farm at the moment because i have too many batteries and not enough uses
Hey hope yer doin great, I just made this exact auto farm, at first it was going great but it got bad so fast. I made two of these farm facing each other and idk if that's the cost, but my pets kept dying and scaring the machine pls help
Hi, I love your videos. I have a problem with this build. First of all it works great, while I am on. Once I saved game and leave, when I come back my animals all escape, Some die since they fall on the pot and the rest are walking around. Does anyone else have this problem or is just me?. Thanks for help, and Happy sunday.
Hey thank you, that's very kind of you, I would advise placing a monolith down near the farm, monoliths usually only help automations to keep running while on the same island but they also seem to keep animals/monos where you want them when offline 😊
First of all great video's with good clear instructions. I copied your design and it worked very well until I logged off and when I logged back in the next day all the animals were gone presumably dead. Any idea why they would have died or do I need to pick up the animals befor I log off. Cheers, Mick.
Thank you 😊 try to place a monolith near it, this does normally only help when you're inside the same biome but it also does tend to help as it did with my battery farm, also are you on console?
@@Caztecx Same problem happens to me on PC. They seem to just randomly spawn close by the generator when you log on it seems. Have just placed a Monolith, so hope that solves the issue.
Hey, so after testing it many times the max number of plots should be 4, they must have nerfed it at some point. You get the same exact yield with 4 as you do 8. Just thought I'd put this out there.
Someone else mentioned this too, is that on console or pc? I guess you will just have to run multiple stacks of 4 from now on 😔 thank you for letting me know, I'll be sure to inform the viewers 👊💚
my mono keep dying because the one that dies doesnt always heal the ones on breeder even though the heal hits the area behind where the breeder is so idk ive tried moving the breeder closer and further to see if that made any difference they still die cause the one in cooker doesnt always heal hit the ones on breeder
Nearly every island, your best is a variety island as they spawn right on the spawn, or an island of Valley/mountain as they also spawn very close to the spawn
Hello can i ask something, i built the system exactly the same as you did, but when i go go to other maps, my cows suddenly disapear, the mono still keep healing, and i try to control them when iam in the map and they also getting healed, can u help me?
Hey try place a monolith down near them, console currently has a bug that makes animals despawn when travelling, so monoliths keep them somewhat loaded in even when you aren't on the game or you travel around
Hey I don’t know if you will respond since the video is old but I haven’t had a problem with the build until I came back and the breeder facility broke and all of my animals got off the gen. I don’t know what could have happened
Found this very informative 1st and foremost. But have built this to the exact specific way you advised and my monos keep dying “the ones on the breeder” which stops the whole thing. Twice I have tried now with different levels of mono which are green btw and they are still failing to produce? Any tips or ideas would be much appreciated.
I found this very useful but almost everytime i change map or travel far from base i return to base to find the green monos and sheep in my case all die, Im sure this is a game issue but annoying.
Try place a monolith down by the automation, this will allow to keep running no matter how far you get away from it (on the same island) but it also helps keep monos on the automations
Head to your crafting table and create a monolith, it only usually works when you stay on the same island however i seems to help with keeping monos on the breeder too, let me know how you get on and we can figure something else out if it doesn't work for you: here's a full guide on monoliths just incase you need some help: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-7to19OiKoR4.html
i so glad that worked! its odd because it should be needed but we will take it right 😂 good idea! i see people have been doing the cloud streaming thing which seems to be helping too, thank you for the suggestion 👊🏻💚
if thats in legacy i will have to hop back on it to test it all out as i havent been on it since seamless launched, if its in seamless then there must be an explanation for it as i have various farms of monos healing multiple, if you like feel free to contact me on discord/social media and ill be happy to take a look, unfortunately we cant share screenshots through youtube, but my name is Caztecx on all social media or our discord is Discord.gg/CazGang
This doesn’t work any longer, it doesn’t matter if u use green Mono, they both lose health. I’ll look for other options to see if a battery farm is possible.
@@Caztecx Thanks 4 replying, I figured it out. My cooking pot was down a floor too many & the Mono that died health regin wasn’t reaching the mono in the breeding station or the animals running. Thanks for the reply & all the great content. When I search for Craftopia ideas, you’re the main guy that pops up.
So I've put a monolith and even tried doing it with 3 green monos and even just standing there after about 1-2min they all die and refuse to heal did they nerf the green monos healing?
The Mono healing is being weird recently, just make sure the breeder is close to the middle of where the monos are falling in and dying, the green monos healing though will never be nerfed as its an intentional feature
If anyone has an issue that the Mono which drops into the pot is NOT healing the others, just make sure your breeder is a tiny bit over the edge of the hole. Hope this helps.
I did this correctly and I left and came back the pigs in monos were roaming and not breeding is it a bug or do I need to capture animals and monos each time I leave the island
The farm is still used by alot of people from the community, this setup although old is still fully working, double check your mono levels, or it could be a multiplayer desync, the monos in the pot should take instant damage, if they're not then that sounds like a bug
@@dekusrpg5540 Aye we just getting started 👊🏻 Head to any normal grass biome, they are pretty common and usually close to the transportation portals, take a monster prism, get them weak and capture them :) if you need more help let me know 👊🏻
🤣 understandable, I find myself in that situation quite often, especially especially I need to go to a hot or frozen area but yeah greens will do the trick 😊
were not sure if it was a patch or a glitch, however if your placed a Monolith (guide on my channel) near it, it seems to help, even though monoliths only normally help while logged in, it seems to trick the system
@@nakatagaming887 Thank you for translating that! 👊🏻 i think they actually want things like this to be in the game, it may be nerfed in someway but im sure for the most part it will still work
Im thinking it’s patched since I’ve seen multiple people having this same issue since the latest update(not sure if it implemented before but i have the problem aswell since logging on recent update.)
Thats certainly a solution for now, but I will try my abolsolute hardest to solve it permanently and let you know, but I'm glad you like the build, I'm going to hop on my xbox today and improve it as on the steam version they don't walk around 🤔 I really appreciate your feedback 💯👊
It seems the xbox version does this alot, I have a work around coming shortly, at the time of making this video they didn't move at all so I'm not sure if there was some kind of auto patch, but for now I would recommend trying to do while afk and when you you're ready to exit the game, catch them again, but I do have a fix coming shortly 👊
anyone getting the issue where the mono's just don't die when they're in the large pot? They go into it and they just sit there on 0 health. Happens with every animal! Its so annoying
@@Caztecx Bruh. You have single-handedly fundamentally changed the way I play CT. I can't thank you enough, PLEASE make more vids. HAVE A SAFE AND AWESOME DAY! :)
