Screws and nails and construction adhesive! Somebody get this guy off RU-vid, he's make all us other DIY shed guys look like cheapskates! LOL In all seriousness, that's a great looking shed! Looking forward to see it all come together.
I am building this for a good friend and we both agreed we might as well build it to last! Nothing better than construction adhesive to make a wall rock solid!
Great video, what if I’m putting wall in for a carport with sloped roof? And setting the wall on concrete? Do I drill into the concrete? It’d be a brand new slab. I’m a total noob btw
well just think about the fact you may get wind, and over cal;culate if your carport will fly off...you will have your answer...(hint: yest screw it into concrete...always secure a large construction like that due to posisbility of detachement from position)
@@ivanzivanovic4013haha thsnks for not being too much a smart ass. I see it gets anchored in my case. Guess I’m looking more for the technical direction and whether I’m up for the task. Something I’ve always wanted to learn. Carport has sloped roof in one direction. So guidance on cutting the studs to match that pitch? Just maybe attach the top plate and make my cuts according to the pitch?
If you are going to set the wall right on the concrete, be sure to use treated lumber so that it does not rot against the concrete. Yes use some tapcon screws or anchor bolts to connect to the concrete.
I am struggling to make my list. I want to do a 10x12 shed. I want my front wall to be 10ft tall and my back wall 8ft . I am trying to make my list and can't figure out how many 2x's I will need total .
