How to Build a Better Material Grinder and AFK Spot - AFK Canny Valley Endurance - Step by Step 

Seeking the most efficient mat grinder, & using the assumption that you only need 74 structures, I found a simpler method: (math first) A rhombus/diamond of n width has (n+1)/2 squares, so width 1 is 1, width 3 is 5, width 5 is 13, & width 7 is 25. You built a rhombus of width 9, which has 41 squares, as you mentioned. But it turns out that a 9-width structure is not necessary. Because while you can only place so many floor pieces, you can also place pyramids on top. This turns a 7-width structure into 50 builds. Still not enough. The next thing you can do is place walls (arches, etc.). Placing 4 walls on the center floor brings the total to 54. Adding 3 walls in the 4 cardinal directions (+12) brings us to 66. Add 2 in each of the 4 corners (+8) & you get 74! Building out into the full extent of the BASE is not necessary to have the required build count to make the most out of the Recycling perk. You only need to build out 3 from the middle in floors & cones & build a 3x3 square of walls in the center. Do this for each build type & you get an overall structure that is easier to build & doesn't extend too far where UFOs or whatever can get in the way. ~ Math & visual aid: www.desmos.com/calculator/5pdk0iolie
