We got started working on building our corral and working chute for our cows. We didn’t get very far before something else required our attention. You just never know what’s gonna happen.

Good Work! That looks a lot like my old E. Tennessee "stompin' grounds". Are you guys in E. Kentucky? My Dad was from Harlan County. We're up in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan now. We have Highlands, too.

What kind of cattle are those? Nice temperament from the bull. Always easier to work friendly cattle. You can feed them cubes and get them to do anything! If there was a short-haired version I'd think about getting some here in Texas. Those long haired animals would hate the heat where I'm at though haha

They are Scottish highland, several ranches in Oklahoma raise them… they do like to swim in the summer here to get cooled down.
