Just learned about this game last night from a friend, been watching loads of videos about it. Yours is the first to actually talk about how to actually play the game. Most others just mention systems as though you're supposed to know what they are. Appreciate it! Only criticism I have is please stop apologizing for mispronouncing names. Anyone who gets mad about it isn't worth listening to, and if you're wrong someone will politely correct you.
It's crazy how this game slipped my radar until a few weeks ago. Glad you like the content. I'm about to film a intro to tactics sort of guide here in a few, so I hope you have a chance to enjoy it once I post.
Im really confident of what do with Maitha. HP restore saved my butt many times in closed beta, i would choose GUARD > Common Everybody > Block Counter > Bandage > Powerfull Attack(probably it buff counter) > Maitha Combo since i wanna pull dudes out of arena or on each other and tank need a good reposition skill too.
From what I understand, you’ll get enough resources just playing the game to pity a unit, which is great! You just need to kind of play content and get the rewards while she is on banner for the first two weeks. Good luck!
For sure. Even in the demo you can see where there is a good amount of resources. Given the livestream we also know of launch events that will give added rewards. So long as you aren't trying to pity every banner you should have a good early influx of currency to use.
Tell me if this is true or not. And you of course indirectly covered this point in the video anyway, so I know you didn't really miss anything. So, having extra skills unlocked, even on the same branch, still boots that character's overall stats? In other words, the system seems or appears to still reward you for learning any skill at all, even if you don't have the skill set or active in your kit, however minor the boost is ultimately, though that only means that there are no wasted choices on which skills you learn, especially if you are planning or find yourself comfortable with using a particular character a lot or as often as possible. Assuming you eventually unlock every available skill for a character, they would be benefiting from massive boost in natural stats. But yeah, great video, and I enjoyed the short form breakdown of these mechanics. I just wanted to make sure that things were legit or that there is still some type of payoff (however small) for essentially learning skills that can never be used together in a single fight.
I’ve asked around the community and they confirm you get the stat boost. So yes, fully maxed tree still holds some benefit. If you love the character, go for it! Not right away, but eventually I’ll max out Gloria.
@@16BitBear Awesome to hear. That's for confirming that. And Gloria sounds like an amazing unit to go for anyway. I'll be doing something similar. Thanks!
Glad to have you along. I should hopefully be filming an early tactical primer guide for those newer to the genre today, or those wanting to see some of this game's nuance (would release tomorrow).
Great video! if i had to nit pick anything is your voice volume could be a bit higher! i hear you just fine if all im doing is watching you but if im multi tasking and playing a game or something i cant , thats all!
I'm glad you said that, I've been trying to find the balance between increasing mic gain and increasing volume in post. I had a feeling it was too low given how much I had to adjust in post. I'll up the gain.
About rank up,skill if we choose two passive skill(like aura etc)using the castalia did we can use that skill at same time?or we must set up the pasive skill in skill slot menu too?
Asked around and it’s not 100% clear on passives. You get one basic and one reaction skill though. Unlocking does give additional stats though, so not a complete loss if you have them to spare.
Passive skill still takes up a slot among the 3 generic skill slots (each unit has 1 basic atk, 1 reaction and 3 generic) . And yes, you can have 2 skills from a same rank, but that means 2 slots. Ask your self if you would have only 1 active skill, what you gonna do when that skill is on cooldown.
This os the demo i have the second most hours in 63 when i last saw im loving it so far it has so much and the best part is the story it is amazing unlike most im looking forward to everything that includes gacha and pvp im going f2p though i might give some so the game stays afloat
I'm not a huge PVP person, but I'll dabble in it for the rewards. Who knows, maybe it'll grab me. I'm really looking forward to the story and the hard modes.
It opens the other skill on the same row. You could then slot it in your build. You don't get unlimited skills though, but you can slot 1 basic, 1 reaction, and 3 skills.
So, as to maintaining resources for like, unit(s) that'll come in the future, is it even an option to never pull and just go through the game with units the game gave us?
Another creator, I believe ShowtimeDr mentions in a video how there is a player who has done just about all the content without ever pulling a character. It would be tough for sure, but still possible. Obviously easier to pull some units at least, but you don't have to chase every meta.
For lootandwaifus? If so his page has been getting hammered these last couple days, I think he's popular now :). Give it a shot in a few days to see if it's come back up. I know I was having trouble last night even accessing it.
I've not played the TW/CN version, but talking to others that have, bosses cannot be knocked off of maps. There seems to be some harder enemies that also cannot be KB. I still think you'll have plenty to toss off the abyss, and KB is good for things like hitting into barrels and repositioning, so not always wasted either.
PVP I plan to do mainly to get into the rewards, I don't expect to hit whatever the top tier is though. Unless a gatcha can protect from whales, such as prebuilt units etc, I won't even attempt to be top tier. I've always been more of the PVE type anyway.
For now, but eventually you will have a couple not be, though it's still mostly from the lists I've seen. Thankfully this game seems rather forgiving in allowing you to play your favorites and not just top meta, short of whaling out on PVP modes of course.
