I think anyone selling their Bitcoin or Ethereum because of the dip, has no idea what they are holding in the first place. Long term hodlers are not going to sell a single Satoshi. We are on downtrend which the chances of bouncing up off this resistance is much greater than falling lower. Now I buy and just trade and I'm super picky who I listen to for crypto analysis. We should focus on day trading, as it is less affected by the unpredictable nature of the market. bitcoin is very profitable when you trade with Lincoln Mount signals. i can testify to that because i started as a beginner with no knowledge of bitcoin. but he put me through now i make profits everyday and fluctuations doesn't affect his signals
Risking to trade without his guide and signals is like driving without seat beat.. very unsafe ... lol Trading is the best option for accumulating but if done wrong can be disastrous so be careful or follow an expert with a known success rate like Lincoln

How does a DAO creator get compensated? If it's my idea, I want to create it. How do I determine how much I should get for all my hard work and a partners hard work?

That was informative. Just from watching this and how you set up the voting. I can see real world applications. Lets say for example a group of investors that pool there money and vote on what assets to invest in. I think a video down the road with how a DAO would cross over into the real world of LLC's, Trusts and other structures.

DAOs are the most transformative innovation in blockchain. I can see governments running bureaucracy largely on DAOs. Now how would governments, or even at the deeper level security agencies, build a system of control and standardized inputs that is a different question.

Do you think a dao wold be beneficial for a SPAC ? I’m thinking about starting a project on the blockchain instead of doing it on the stock market and try to make it as decentralized as possibly and tokenize the stocks :)
Okay im new to this so probably lacking in insight. But let me play the devils advocate here as an example: I have started a company using my own capital and resources, as well as my blood, sweat and tears. It is working and growing rapidly. I have a hierarchy in place, with a team of experts in their field, whom i am paying dearly for their expertise at the top of the hierarchy. I'm hiring new employees. My goals are the same as with most entrepreneurs: to fulfill the goal of the company and add value to society through the product and also to increase my wealth and that of my children and descendants forever. Why would i surrender control of my company and capital to employees, or any other people? its not going to happen. NEVER. Control is granted based on capital structure which allocates voting rights proportional to the distributed shares of the company and/or type of shares. How does this structure fit into the context of a DAO?
Please I am willing to create a hedge fund and I don't know if this requires investors to have crypto.. and what if Ethereum crush down.. and what are other risk... Thank you so much

I know it's not all about money but i can see an older bank executive being forced to watch this video by his grandkid and suddenly realizing that he has completely lost touch with the future which is now. This tutorial gave me a good head start in creating my DAO. I am running into permissions issue when I add a new account and the error I am getting is "ACTION IMPOSSIBLE The action failed to execute. You may not have the required permissions." right at 5.58. I have followed your tutorial without missing any step, not sure if aragon has changed since you recorded this video.
This was great! I'm trying to think how to get my normie friends to set up a DAO with me to vote on trips to take, party themes, and have a way to share tokens amongst ourselves to reward people for certain behaviors. I would love a video that's like a ELI5 that would help me guide them through that.
Why would a DAO be a better solution for organizing parties, trips and social behavior amongst friends? Asking because I have the similar urge but I'm not personally able to answer that question in a way that satisfies me.
@@EdenSired to be honest, that's a question I need to answer myself. My initial thought is that the actual community ownership of the DAO we would make would get people more active in participating when it comes to what we would do. I also think there are some interesting use cases to reward people for doing things that benefit the group where today people eat the cost if they sacrifice for the group. Lastly, I just think it would be cool to web3 pill all my friends and the best way to do that is by doing.
I have a great (one of the best) or worst (cant do it totally dumb) ideas for a DAO but have no idea how to start. Frustrating but have to start from somewhere
Hello Sarah, just found your channel. Very interesting vid. Do you know a way how to setup a dao that has staking capabilities, like for example Olympus DAO? Theres lots of ways to create a DAO, but i can´t find out how to get staking working for the dao participants. Subscribed ;)
Also, if I started a company based on this idea, trading real goods, then how do I enforce/verify the quality of the service? This is a very sad bubble built upon the diminishing bubble of Web 2.0. The reason of the expansion of Web 2.0 is that there use to be so many cheap labors who produces cheap goods so an idea literally cause nothing, sadly all those cheap labors are now over age of 50+ and they weren’t able to produce a next generation of cheap labors. So gradually ideas would cause a lot more than now to trick ppl and make them hyper about. And thus reaches the end of globalization, so reaches the end of web bubble.
Now that you all know about DAO's, I recommend checking out Oracle Finance DAO, they are launching soon presale begins 3/14, they payout in stable coins which is unique to other projects rewards, rebase token with plans to moon :)
A DAO is a smart contract on its nature. So when you deploy it you have to pay gas fees for sure. But the price fully depends on the DAO builder you use. In Aragon the price will be 0,8 ETH, on XDAO for example 0,4 ETH. It will be even cheaper in other blockchains. And if we talk about on chain voting so yes, in Aragon you have to pay for it. There are also a hybrid voting system when you pay only for execution. I know XDAO already implemented this. Snapshot is absolutely off-chain, for example, means you don’t need to pay anything.
A DAO is more complex than just configure a stupid contract. Stop saying: "how to create a DAO in 5 minutes". Please use the right words. This is just a tiny tool for a DAO, but definetely is not a DAO. Thanks
Look, what I mean is that a DAO is made by the people that is behind, and the community that is able to engage. So with this definition you cannot build a DAO in 5 minutes. Interacting with people, giving confidence to participate in the project takes time. Once you achieve it, you have a real DAO. By the way, of course Aragon Project will tell you that they liked it. You are free advertising for them.
Hello, brilliant video! Thank you. I'm trying to build a Blockchain gaming DAO for a group of NFT/Metaverse crypto investors. I want to scale this later to help the world's poor and unemployed find work and make a living wage in the metaverse. Where should I deploy my DAO if I have very limited coding experience and not a lot of resources for paying gas fees?
My tokens for my DAO never showed up in my Metamask wallet, I voted on them, it was approved. My test ether did show up I had to go to two different sites. The site you suggested said "offline". But I think I got confused with the number of tokens to vote with the total number of tokens (which I never created). I'm not sure what to do with this now that I've created it.
Sarah this is brilliant. I am trying to find an answer that no one can give me . I am an artist and want to create REAL ART NFTs. Ie sell the actual art with the nft and make sure than when the NFT I’d resold, the art goes with it. I am told that a DAO is the way to do this. Your help would be appreciated as there is very litle information in this regard, anywhere.
Great video. Please recomend some other crypto project. Which you think really innovative. And look at elastos also. It is under my radder. I think they are doing something extraordinary. But you will know batter. I am not a developer.
