The only mistake I found was that your graphics card wasn't on the highest pcie slot. I don't know the specifics of the motherboard you bought, but I recommend putting the graphics card into the highest pcie slot available because the pcie slot you may have put your graphics card into was a x8 slot vs a x16 slot which is faster. 👍Plus it'll look better.

As an advice: consider insatlluing your gpu to the first pci-e slot of your motherboard, since it has the most bandwith. Depending on your motherboard the second one could be a 8x rather than a 16x
@norkris8729
@norkris8729 3 года назад
this i kinda true. but since he is using a x299 he has 2x 16. and if it is in a 8x, he would not lose performance

@@norkris8729 Yes, but he doesn't explain these caviats or the context behind them. When i saw him plug the gpu in the second socket i cringed. All because i know how that was a bad idea back in the day. I guess it's fine on expensive motherboards tho.

Yo just a heads up. You are much better off putting the grounding pin your ESD bracelet into the copper part of your wallet outlet. By connecting to a power supply that is not grounded you are not doing anything. Secondly, you are not supposed to be wearing cotton items because they emit high level of static electricity. Lastly, the outside of the MLB bag has no EMI shielding and touching it requires grounding yourself again unless you touched while grounded. Also the ankle bracelet is not a good idea. You need to connect to your wrist. Your wrist maintains a significant more amount of connection to your ESD bracelet. Sorry man I hate to comment but people who are doing their first builds need to know this stuff.

You should consider installing your GPU on the first PCI-E row rather than the one in the bottom. I didn't check your motherboard specs but you can avoid all the trouble by just going for the first slot rather than the bottom that has a possibility of being an x8 rather than x16

Hey man! I wanted the extra slight power for adobe premiere pro as intel is said to be more optimized for the adobe suite. Hi andres, in other video I saw you had an Amtec P120 Case for your PC is that right? Which case do you like the most and did you replace the P120?
@andresvidoza
@andresvidoza 3 года назад
Hi bro!! Yeah dude! I mean they are both very different but I ultimately wanted a black case to match the setup. To many people wanted the p120 crystal back but they are both Great cases!

@@andresvidoza Thank you so much for your reaction. You are a big inspiration for me for building a nice desk. I have a new space free in my room and I am building a new desk and I watch all your videos for inspiration. Cant wait for the comparing video of the RAZER and AUTONOMOUS chair ;)
