No disrespect to young Mr O'dell... but I sure do enjoy watching 'The ol man' 😉 Been watching your channel for years David.. keep up the good work Sir!
Thank you for showing us through the foundation plan. I had never seen one before, and did not realise they were so detailed. Thank you for teaching me something new.
😂driving round neighborhood observing concrete pours. "Sir who are you and what are your qualifications?" "Calm down Im Odell certified with 10,000 logged RU-vid hours" 😆💕👏👍
Good looking clean job wish our addition plans inspections in phoenix didn’t have such strict overkill on plans seems we make additions built to outlast existing house foundations so much rebar and concrete ugh 😩
Great job, I love your videos. Quick question. How big does a wall need to be in order to get inspection for building and safety. I want to make a planter 4 ft high. Do I need inspection for that?
There are two contracts (one immediate, the second 2024 delayed because of LADBS). Immediate: Demolish 3 top block lines(59’ long) and replace with 4 new block lines using 6x8 Angelus Harvest Split Face and Color, Smooth Block (I'll buy block from Angelus). Mortar type S 823 SpecMix, with 1/2 rebar. Reason for demolish? Contractor used the wrong type of block. The house is in Boyle Heights, off the 5 freeway near DTLA and I’m the owner. Roger
The second contract is a basement addition which involves escavating and pouring new foundation walls and floors. LADBS just pulled a bunny out of their asses by requiring a methane test, after going through 4 plan check sessions. Just hired contractor to do that test, and we hope that final plans will be approved by middle of 2024.
Those are real concrete Carpenter's hands I want you to know that and everybody else needs to recognize those are old school hands Hammer & Nails no impact wrenches or impact hammers😂😂😂😂😂😂 OSS ?
