Hey, great video! To save money in the long run if youre going to build multiple dioramas, at home depot (idk about lowes) you and get the project foam in 4'X8' sheets for $14. You'll save $34 in the long run. Its tricky to get home if you dont have a truck but I usually buy a box cutter and cut it down in the parking lot to fit in my car.

I went to Hobby lobby and bought brick paper and wrapped it around cardboard boxes and made buildings on a 4 foot gray table. Then I took paper that looked like the sky and taped it together to build the sky. Then I took WWE doors and steps, and take them to the front of the boxes to make it look like a city with doorways and steps go in. Trash cans in the side steps, mailboxes, and ring barrier to block off the ends of the street. I added a different color of brick sidewalk. On another 4 foot table I took a WWE cage with no top and made a prison camp for mutants and posted 4 sentinels around them, using the twisty ties that come with most figures I tie their necks together and hands behind their back, and had Hydra soldiers running them into the death camp. Last but not least I bought the X-Men select danger room pieces around 14 different pieces and built a danger room using a 4 foot grade table. This is where all my X-Men and brotherhood are

I like displaying them in action form, rather than just have them set on the shelves. I change the city up to where the fantastic four is meeting the Hulk . or the avengers are fighting the black order. and I love what if crossover’s what if Captain America and his cookie quartet with giant man in the wasp, fought the sinister six? Or what if the sinister six had defeated Spider-Man and the original X-Men showed up to save him? I’d like to learn how to do stop start motion because these would make good movies.

Pro tip:for flooring of something like a house you can use popsicle sticks for hard wood floors

So, I kinda thought this would be a bit more of a tutorial. I anticipated you walking through a process for building the props. At first I got agitated and was gonna do the whole troll thing, the decided that'd be dickish, since I did actually take knowledge away that I didn't have prior, so you did give new information. Thank you sir. I'd not have considered the peel n stick for my diorama. I don't believe I'll use that in the one I'm currently building which is my first stab at it. As much as I'm enjoying this process though, I'm almost certain it won't be the last I build. I very well may use your advice in the future.

I got back into collecting transformers. I'm a 47yo grandpa who grew up with them in the 80's. I collected in the early 00's but it was uninspiring back then due to the lack of good figures. Now though.... Yeah I'm back lol. My diorama currently is a 2 lane asphalt bridge that's broken in the center, looks like maybe a road in carbombia "yup. That's the generic Arab country in the 80's cartoons. Just wow, have times changed" or somewhere else on Earth. I did a coue of block wall sections, that turned out great, I've got 2 huge primed chunks of styrofoam, like maybe 12x3x20ish and a bunch of model part frame pieces, and some crap figure stands remains. To be fair they're only crap for transformers. Bet they're great for 3.75" or 6" figures. Anyway, I'm attempting to find a tutorial on painting this stuff animation style. Think something like this guy here. Any ideas? I've been searching RU-vid. But coming up short especially on basically for dummies type stuff. On a side note. I bought my house and was fooled into thinking I had a tile kitchen floor. Even fooled the inspectors, but turned out it was EXACTLY the tile you bought at Lowes lmao. Dang it man! That matches better than anything I've found around here for repairs.

Wow wow wow Best of luck with the Transformers Diorama! It can be difficult to get those pieces together to nail the perfect back drop. Law Creations and Greg Cook are too design guys I enjoy watching build things for figures.

The diorama pieces are from eBay TW Toys. I also find a lot of cool pieces from Diamond Select figures. I trade or sell the figures for the diorama pieces.

You are my favorite RU-vidr and I love that display you have for you action figures. At one point I did needed some help on how to display my figures and now you gave me some ideas lol on how to display my figures. I need thought about going to Lowe's to get any pieces of floor tiles and forum as a back drop. l love the videos and reviews and be safe and thanks for the ideas lol Happy Holidays to you and your family

Awesome video! I shop at Lowes for everything that I need. I built my own 5-shelf bookcase with supplies from Lowes. One day I'll re-create it on my Channel. Gonna have to get me some of those project boards. I also had the idea to get those tile pieces for floors or walls of a building. I did upload a video where I created a Jungle Diorama for Predator inside of a fish tank. I subbed to your RU-vid. I look forward to more content from you.

The diorama pieces have been purchased on eBay or came with different figures. I have a 3D printer so hoping to start making different pieces for background.
