Hello everybody!
I'm finally showing how I build the lids for my enclosures. I have had many different DIY lids and I really love these the most as they are so practical!
I use beech wood, 40x20cmm für the large base frame, 15x15mm for the smaller frame and 25x6mm for the top frame to cover the wire mesh.
Remember to only use mesh with the small square holes, not the one with the bigger kite (?) form as hamsters have been able to chew or squeeze through that! The wire I use has 12.7mm squares and has worked perfectly for both syrians and dwarves :)
