so i was digging through my shit from my childhood and i found my old submersible model, but as you'd expect, being a waterheaded idiot child, it's missing many pieces. I was thinking about using parts from the 1/600, set itself looks rather detailed. thanks for the sick video, my man.
FINALLY SOMEONE OTHER THAN ME WHO THINKS THE VERY OVERATED PRINTHIVE 3D PRINTED MODEL IS GARBAGE! I've tried giving them advise to make it better, but they refuse to listen.
Did you add anything in the stern section to make it rise like that? When I was a kid (13-ish, now 16) I added walls at the back of the stern to trap air, so that it would go upright. Did you do anything like that?
Titanic's breakup was not clean. with large sections between the compass tower and the fourth funnel falling off. If I wouldput the break area in front of the 3rd funnel (where we think the keel broke) then it would have just looked very strange with a whole aft part with two funnels left. It would look too clean. How I sealed it...gently cutting I think!
This is a minor pointer but your wing propellers are on opposite sides. Also, how’d you do the thre blade center propeller? Is it pre made or did you modify the one from the kit?
Oh! You may be correct! I thaught they looked weird thank you very much! The central propeller is from a 1:700 Titanic wich came with two sets of propellers for some reason so I used one of the wing propellers!
Be patient, always make sure not to use too vibrant colours as they will make the ship look unrealistic, and have fun! Because if you don't It will just end up looking bad!
@@titanic.nerd401 The yellow band is a mix of gold, yellow and a tiny bit of orange, and the funnels are a mix of lightyellow and Pink, but I probably should have used a tiny bit more of the Pink, as the funnels became too yellow in my opinion.
