I decided I to build a grind box from scratch so i can keep up my ledge skating no matter whats going on. It was fun, easy and relativity cheap to build I would highly recommend it.

I changed a few things for my build. I made it 6ft long instead 8ft. I made it 1.5 ft wide instead of 2ft. Also my wood was slightly thinner then 2" x 4" so i added some extra supports. Buying my parts costs about 70$ in Australia, depending on which coping you get this could be more also note i didn't need to buy the top sheet layer. Happy building.

nah i think around 30 is good, you dont want it too high that its a hassle to skate, you could always raise it up on some bricks quite easily but never lower it :)

Paint the coping for a better slide. Also, add an old pair of trucks to one side at the bottom to wheel the box around easier.

Hey man, sick video. Was wondering how the stickers held up/ slide. We have just coping and straight Masonite for our top sheet, which slides much better than plywood but still sticky for certain tricks. Would you say the strikers are worth doing or so they rip up quickly and end up making a mess ? I just wanna slide yo 😭 grinds are perfect haha
