I think earlier Zerodha's MOAT was that they introduced discount brokerage in India when there was none, paired it with the Tech also when the consumer tech companies were just starting up in india i.e. 2007 and forward. But now Tech is no longer a MOAT it's the trust they've build over the years of 14-15 years. Companies like Groww have also build the same platform with 4-5 years of their existence and any company can be but they might be fail to acquire the "Ideal" customer which in this case India 1 or India 1 India 2. Because of that trust factor. The gap will definitely get shorter and shorter over the course of years if the competitors deliver consistently and build a trust.
