For beginners I believe, unit management is something important to know. What I mean is, what beginner do with dupes of characters, for either Legends or Rare Recruits, and what's the difference in management compared to f2p untis which we can easily maxed out. How to indentify units that we should invest resources in with Limit Break and etc.
How I build Teams. 1. Is it your fave character? 2. Does the Art look cool? 3. Does the in-game model look cool? 4. Is the special animation cool? 5. Is it kinda strong?
copying teams works, but coming up with your own and beating a really hard piece of content with it... is just the best feeling! (mostly i don't have the time for it though)
I want to start building my own but I don’t know where to find guides for the event or raid by guide I mean like what each enemy does do you have any recommendations by chance
@@JoeyGass i mean you can watch youtube videos to see what the enemies do without copying the content creators team. or if you really wanna go solo and do it all on your own then just trial-and-error it. just play it until you figure it out. you can make notes or screenshots. you don't have to remember it all. since they introduced 0-stamina until you clear a mission... you can try as often aa you want or need
so true....i have been playing this game for 2 months....i did a lot of stupid stuff....like one time I spent 20 gems to clear an easy content!!!......
Damn, I learned something new! I had no idea you could filter on specials.... I don't know how far you are gonna take these guides but I think a little roadmap would help, what to farm up first etc. Specials, sockets, new content, old content etc. Because there is so much stuff to farm when you begin. Things to skip/focus on.
you can also filter turtles, or food characters or manuals, but it is limited. you can filter specific value using github. if the value isn't on the list it's probably the wrong category
Ty Toadskii for these videos.. I know they're not doing as good as your other content but it provides very valuable information and this community needed such a beginner series badly! I'm pretty sure it will pay off in the long run! Looking forward for more!!
Hey @toadski a good thing to cover for beginners is what f2p characters to farm for those who don’t know what Characters to focus on if they Pulled Legends based on your Beginning legends video. Because it could be overwhelming sometimes and you can waste your Stamina.
@toadskii A cotton candy farming guide would be nice...without chopper. An ambush (skull farming) guide would be cool too. I've gotten all my skulls from the bazaar from selling extra rr i don't use and I'm completely f2p. Friends list guide would be good too but i assume the whole system needs to be revamped because it sucks atm
Revisiting some of the older subjects may work well, I don't know if any changes happened over the years but topics like Limit Break, I don't think it was a mechanic when I played in the past. At least not one that I remember. What quests or events are worth prioritizing in the game? What bundles are worth spending on and what would be traps, etc. I don't fully understand the whole "Rent a Quest" system that is in the game but I don't need to be doing that quite yet as I still am tackling early stuff.
:You want really want to build a team with types and classes that synergize your captain your subs providing powerful specials that power up the majority if not all of your crew and a versatile range of debuff removal and enemy buff negaters Kaido: So anyways I started blastin'
I think something important to address in the deeper teambuilding video is hybrid friend captains. It's so easy to fall into using the same friend captain as your captain, but there's a lot than can be accomplished by switching it up. I think that's something I don't think about often enough, the extra slot of utility that the friend captain opens up.
I would like a video explaining events like fortnights (something I don't know where to do because I am a beginner), or explaining the garp challenges and coliseum.
Fortnights were removed from the game. The Garp Challeges are a 0 cost piece of content that give you good rewards (You can check them in the Chopperman missions, bottom in the special tab). Those reset every one or two months. Normally, you need to beat the same content five times (once per color) except those with a 2 on them. If you check the reward tab it should be clear. In the coliseum you beat three or five minibosses until you arrive to the last level, which guaranted you the character (only in the hardest difficulty). Plus, when you clear every stage for the first time, you get a reward.
@@noecarmonasaez3274 thank you, really appreciated, but I thought you got manuals for some characters. For example, where do you get manuals for V3 lae then?
@@NotSteven01 Ypu get all of those in the Manual island, a rotation island between colors. V3 Law should be in the PSY one, active on thursday and saturday I think
Been waiting for an updated version of team building. I have been playing for a while and I’m still trying to grasp this fully it definitely takes some time and practice.
yep, its still the same basics have units that deals the fight mechanics and have enough damage but it gets tricky fast with new content having multiple gimmicks on 1 stage
I’m pretty new to the whole show and this game and all I know about it is that this is basically dragon ball dokkan battle but it’s one piece this help me a lot with my team thanks for making this video
i am far from being a new player (started ~6 yrs ago) but I'm putting myself in a new player's shoes and there is just too much information to take in nowadays lmao
Hey, thanks for your beginner guides. as im trying into the game now, a good guide would be on the topic of charakter power. like how u can make your charakter stronger, the different systems and what to approach as a beginner. or lets say when you should focus on what also it would good to now which content in the agme i should do a lot as a beginner. like the way you would play a beginner account today, what steps todo and so on
My Team Is Big Mom vs Kaido (Currently Using Kaido As My Captain)Because Of Such A Godly Boost For The Crew It Removes All Status Effects Gives 5X Attack Gives Immunity And Will Eventually One Shot A Boss Once Laws Ability Is Activated!,Mihawk Because He Drains 30% Hp From Enemies Helpful Againts Bosses,Law Traffelger Because Of Its Ability To Ignore All Enemy Defense Also Helpful With Bosses,Marco The Phoenix As My Healer,Yamato Which Gives Such A Good Boost
I'm a beginner and I would like a guide on the best ways to gain some rare-ish materials such as forbidden tomes and almighty manuals. Edit: and how to level up support effects.
I can help with that. Do get forbidden tomes, you need to complete daily missions as far as I know, that's the easiest way and I think the straw hat recruitment event also gives you some for completing missions. To level up specials, you'll have to go to the events tab>power up> collect manuals. There are many to collect and they come for each typing daily and they're all available on weekends. Hope that helps a little 😊😊
@@NouhanSYLLA Wow, thanks. I actually have one more question though, Ive noticed that the manual events are gone... will they ever come back? The basic Str Dex Phy Int types
@@robertoortiz1210 Yup, they are available daily for each typing like STR on Monday, DEX on Tuesday, QCK on Wednesday, PSY on Thursday and INT on Friday. Then they all come back for Saturday and Sunday
@Toadskii i started 2 months ago after a break of 4 years and my highest concern ist acctually that i sell units that i could acctually use later on. i had several units that i thought are useless but were needed for different things i didnt even know about such like support effects and stuff like that. so it would be awesome if you could tackle the task to give some key units that dont seem that much usefull at the first glance (Elizabello for example).
pleaso do a video on what a new player should be farming, what to concentrate on in the game. how can i "rainbow" charakters? whre do i get the need stuff for it? knowing how to build a team is good and fine but when i dont have any of these units.
In the character menu, how do I tell if my characters are sugo rare or just regular ultra rare? I dont see anything that tells you if they are a red rarity character or not
I wish we were irl friends I have so many questions (some may be dumb) about this game and others like it lol (also if you want you should go down the list of all abilities in the game)
If a character has somthing like ‘boosts striker and slasher damage by 10’ does that mean the characters i pick have to be both striker and slasher or one or the other
There are a couple things that can increase a character's stats, those being cotton candy and limit breaking (and limit break expansion, where you have to use a key)
hi there really enjoy your guides. its prob a bit of topic but i was wondering if the beginner request from chopper to clear 5 clashes is realistic to complete as an actual noob (like less than a week played) or should i ignore it for now and get the 50 gems sometime later on .
Hi, can you tell us what kind of content we should farm first as beginners??? Also, who to limit break and max out first. Do we have to worry about kizuna classes or pvp?? Thank you!!
if you r new to the game you just started playing you dont have many characters to synergize with each other and the captains ability should you just max pulling on banners with the same type as your captains ability etc so you can collect more characters that might synergize with your team or should i wait for specific banners etc etc?
How to make Roger background and haki look like animated? I already max the level and mastery... Is it only for Roger? I thought it would be cool if my v1 snake man look animated too
I'm sorry for ask this, between Liberal Hind and Oro Jackson which one is better ? (For overall content and Roger as a captain). New in the game and thank you for your answer!
Luffy sanji or kiado bigmom choice is yours since you don't have anything at the moment at least try to get luffy sanji they help u save more gems cause u can clear more content
What's the best thing to do with dupes? I got some from either drops or pulls and I'm hesitant to do anything with them until I know for sure what I should be doing with them
The Captain Ability is always on. Some Character like Roger are a Super Type Character. Its like a second Special to the normal one. You can only activate it once per Quest and only if atleast one of the listed Characters is on your Crew. This can be any Rayleigh (to name one of the list).
You can never go wrong with roger and oden, but who's v3 Luffy? There are so many Luffy legends I think people usually call them by their names or nicknames. The only exceptions would be V1 and V2 snakeman
@@sottomonarch it can be activated after he launches a third special and he's your captain I think but I'm not too sure about it myself, only activated it once.
Since you have oden amd Roger you can literally build support units to get rid if debuff Roger amd oden will be enough dmg for most content especially beginner stuff
Despair, bind, auto heal, special cooldown reduction and slot boost are usually what you want on a 5 socket character, they're simply put universally useful. Damage reduction isn't bad either, the rest are very niche.
Hello Good day Broskii. Happy new year. Can you Please notify me. I am your # 1 fan I just came out from hospital due being sick for cancer. and I want to play now OPTC but I forgot my old account.
