Shinos shrine for sure. Still have the outside shrine area to build but I really love the shrine itself and I'm trying REALLY hard to be respectful of the culture and meaning and do it justice. (Thankfully Japan Studies is one of my majors so it's part of my career path to know and be respectful but still, always always be mindful. Shino has so much culture packed into her, it's incredibly cool.)
Happy Holidays! My fave build is actually my entrance! It has a lot of terraforming and waterfalls with a zen bridge going over a river and a little picnic area! I love it honestly and sets the tone for my island so well

thank you so much for this little tutorial!!! i've been feeling burnt out and frustrated with ACNH because i would keep trying to do huge scenic views that ended up looking a mess because i would end up weirdly cutting off the view by landscaping too much, or being unable to make one at all because i've crammed all my houses against a cliff with a narrow pathway, which i can't even see from afar because i lined the ENTIRE pathway with trees. i feel like i get it now! time to flatten once again!!!
This is amazing Lex! I agree that the most crucial part about builds like this is having to go check back frequently from the view. I love how natural this feels too.

Idk how but you made the volcano item look SO GOOD and made it blend in SO WELL. The View™️ looks amazing. The Torii gate, the island with the lantern and the pagoda (and terraforming) are really pulling through here. I love it!

I never think to take viewpoints and camera shots into consideration when I'm working, so DUH...thinking of that first off and working from there such good advice! Pretty obvious, but I'm one of those who needs a 2x4 sometimes. ^_^;;; Again, LOVE this!

nice, this is giving me inspiration. I have a lake on my island, but the view isn't as perfect as I would like. This is giving me ideas for what I can do. I can probably flatten some stuff and make it look even better!

It blows my mind how you do these builds... I'm considering flattening my island but it's so intimidating and tbh I'm not confident it would be anywhere as good as this anyway 😂
Nice buiild. Did you know you can pickup the glowing moss you just planted as many times as you want, as each time it can be 1 of like 4 different types of glowing moss. So if your OCD is high and want to detail a specific type of moss style, that may be helpful. Happy holidays

You know, I never really thought about using a waterfall on the side you can't see the fall from, but it still looks really good? I guess I'm just a huge sucker for awesome waterfalls, so not being able to actually see one of them from the front side I thought would be lacking, but it really looks awesome, and basically gives you a cool infinity edge!
