This video is a detailed tutorial for a Viking Longhouse. I really hope you like the build. Special Thanks: The decoration on this build was done by FirePumpkin Check her out here ru-vid.com ru-vid.com Decoration Video link: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-x2XApg0gloc.html
Love the builds Brother, wondering if you have done, or considered, a viking themed greenhouse. As the head of the City State of The Sea Monkey in Asgard, I need a greenhouse to feed my loyal subjects...but they seem out of place given the existing arkhitecture...any ideas? 😀😁
It would be awesome if you could build some viking buildings on ASA official setting Aaron 😀 se what you could create with the new build mats . Please, please 🙏 😀
I started using your building videos for ark and now my boyfriend uses them they seem complicated at first but it's actually really easy keep up the great work.
This has to be the most intricate building design I've ever done, but I'm so excited to see it when it's done! You are amazing and you deserve so much more recognition! ❤
In my opinion, if you’re trying to find a good spot to put this base on the island, the best place would be the red lake in the swamp biome on one of the ledges
My pillar placement doesn't work the same as yours, it is not possible for me to do the steps at 2:07, it keeps placing it one to the side in the middle of a foundation.
For people having problems with putting the dino gate in the front I ended up having to just remove that row of walls/doorways and plopping down a fence foundation to snap the gate to. it's the same height as the pillars/front and was the only way I could get the gate to go without getting obstruction errors.
Thank you for your tutorial and for this nice work, I found it a bit complicated, but I ended up succeeding, having slightly modified it, so that I like it more, thank you again and good luck in your future builds ...
TO THOSE WHO HAVE DIFFICULTY WITH PILLAR PLACEMENT AT 1:40 This build is not compatible with S+. Snap points on S+ foundations are different than vanilla foundations, and lack the snap points on the side. Pillars are also sized differently. Please keep this in mind when building, and use an S+ converter if needed!
@@kathrinvanree3095 I always built in solo mode, I played, sometimes you have to improvise some things, because in ark mobile you don't have the same materials like what he uses to make the constructions.
I am unable to offset the foundation with the pillars like you've shown at 1:50. Is this something you're unable to do anymore or is it a restriction by the server I am playing on?
Very awesome! My only complaint is how would you be able to fit normal sized Ark structures inside like vaults, generator things like that. Or would you build a separate crafting type house to fit those things? Not gunna lie I kinda wanna due the wooden long house and make a tek king house paint them both black
I did watch your videos for a long time and everytime I try to build any of your build couldnt ever finish them. You must be a magician cause placing a pillar in the middle of the foundation is impossible
After a few sessions I've finally done it.. I haven't done it all the way tho going to try put my own bits too it.. snapping the fence foundations to the catwalk in between the 2 foundations was a nightmare
I can't get the fences above the front door to work (around 8:00 in the video), every time I remove the thatch ceiling the wooden and stone railings both collapse. I've given up and moved on for now, but does anyone know why this isn't working for me? this is on PC.
Select the stone pillar and get it green over the wooden one. Then if you have xbox hit the rb button until it shows the right spot. It might take a few clicks
When it says to lay the foundations left to right, does it mean actually laying them out left to right back to front (back rows first etc) while facing towards the back row or does it mean to face the right side and walk laying them down left to right front to back?
This is the first time I've run into the issue of it being done with a mod but no indicator which sucks because it took forever to find the flat land for the original foundation 😭😭
No mods you need to place the foundations from left to right just as described in the video if you test a foundation they only have snap points on 2 sides
You need to place the foundations from left to right if there is no snap point there you need to replace the foundations or use my foundation rotation technique
Did you ever figure this out? I’ve placed and re-placed the entire bottom layer of foundations a dozen times a dozen different ways and places and I still can’t get it :/
