What time of hinge did you use?

Great video and lots of detail -- but I'd love to see this actually using **basic** tools. Hand saw, plane, chisels, etc. - fundamental carpentry. The power tools you used require a huge outlay, that means this is in no way a feasible project for a beginner.

Thanks mate. I’m not really a hand tools guy to be honest. Buying good quality hand tools can also be quite expensive and keeping a sharp edge is a skill in itself. I did a basic tools video where I advised on buying 5 key tools that you could build a table with and used a second hand circular saw for it with some other basics. The total outlay for all these tools would be well under £100 which is a good place to get started. It’s as much about being clever with your materials as it is the tools. Big sheet goods are much harder to break down than pre-planed and sized timber boards. Yeah it’s only a roughy and ready one until i get something sorted but you know what it’s like. You do something quick and temporary and then end up keeping it like that for far too long 😂🤦‍♂️
