I am so HAPPY I found your channel, unbelievable that this delicious piece of content is free :) Can you make a tutorial on how to design everything to?
Glad it could help 🙌 Bubble's just in the process of creating a new design engine, so once they've released this, I'll be sure to create a tutorial to help.
Its weird none of my categories were in there "current user", contacts "add" non of these thing were in my dropdown in Bubble. Tried to logout and start over now I can even log back in will try again in a bit... you do a great job of teaching I just need to figure out why the dropdowns are different maybe Bubble updated their web interface not sure
Very strange. Feel free to shoot me a link to your editor and I'd be happy to see what might be causing this. My email is lachlan@buildingwithbubble.com
Thanks your kind and deep insight about your youtube lecture^^. Could u explain in detail about this criteria for filtering current user's contact(i didn't understand fully) - Current User's Contact:minus list Search for Chats(Type:Chat Constraint:Chat-users Current User):each item's Chat-users
Happy to help. I'd recommend checking out the updated version of this course that I recently released here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-DMMx2XqIrKk.html The updated version is much more robust and follows new best practices. Hope this helps!
Thanks! And I'd recommend checking out the updated version of this course here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-DMMx2XqIrKk.html Within the new version, I cover how to add images to chats 👍
Databases and workflows can definitely be a little challenging to initially comprehend. I'd recommend taking a look at my complete intro course for Bubble here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-IWdDr54qE4A.html&lc=UgypiuTUACQJh1JalwR4AaABAg It's a completely free course that breaks everything down in as much detail as possible. Hope it helps ✌
Hi, i enjoy your tutorials, you are excellent at teaching and i have recently purchased access to all of your full tutorials. That being said, i have a question, i am building a native app and i get a message saying its not recommended to use page navigation for this type of build. How else is it possible to "send data", what would be an alternative way to page navigation to get this done? Or is it ok to use the page navigation for the native app build ?
Hey, glad the content is helpful! As an alternative to using page navigation, you can use a combination of hidden groups & page parameters. Essentially, on your main app page, you'd have a series of groups that each display the contents of every page. These groups should not be visible by default and should also have the 'collapse when hidden' option selected. Then, when a user clicks an element that would traditional trigger a navigation event, you can instead set a page parameter on the page that references the content you'd like to display e.g. if you would traditionally send a user to a profile page, you could call the page parameter 'profile'. Then, on your hidden profile group, you could create a condition that allows it to be displayed when the page URL includes 'profile'. This is a quick summary of the process, but I'd be happy to create a tutorial that explains this in more detail. I'll add it to my backlog 🙌
@@BuildingWithBubble Would you be able to provide a one on one session to help me with my app build, for a price of course or maybe as a bonus for registering to your full tutorial package you could do a 30min session and that might actually be a good idea to do for all of those who register might increase interest in purchasing your tutorials 🙂
@@justinhopkins2088 I love the idea, but I just wouldn't have enough time on my hands to start doing 1-1 sessions 😅 I feel like I barely get the time to create new tutorials these days! I'm always an email away if you need anything though (lachlan@buildingwithbubble.com). I can always try and record short screen recordings to help explain some concepts along the way 👍
Hey Syed, unfortunately I don't have a live version of the app in production at the moment. With all of my courses, I'll traditionally publish the first hour for free on RU-vid so you can get a good idea of how the product will turn out. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful!
Unfortunately not. Most of my time is spent recording content. If you were looking an experienced Bubble developer, I'd always be happy to connect you with someone in my network.
You can build the product for free using Bubble, but once you're ready to publish the app on a custom domain, you'll need to start paying for a Bubble subscription. Hope this helps!
Great question. If you're building an app in Bubble, you'll be required to use a third-party service like BDK (Bubble developer kit) to wrap the app into an APK file. This post on the Bubble blog explains the process: bubble.io/blog/bubble-mobile-apps/ Hope this helps.
