you can put fuel tanks on the top of the fairings

@@OriginalSam yes but if i put a whole fuel tank the door will get attached and wont open, unless i make the whole thing split open

put structure parts on the left side of the fairing vertically and put 1 small structure part so there is a little gap between the structure part and the fairing and then put the fuel tank above the structure part or clip them together

If you can't close the doors just add more rcs

Use more RCS if it's too heavy

yes it can work on 6 wide and up

but the docking part must be close so they can actually dock

i can show you how without the dlc 1 select the part you wanna clip (tap them) 2 shake them done

you can, when you want to clip parts without the cheats expansion (clipping) then select everything you want to clip and move it (he did that to in this video)

you need the other fairing to be attached to the rocket if not the the other fairing also fall off

And also make the fairing to not detach edges
