How to Build a Writing Desk {Using 2x4s and Plywood!} 

In this video, I'll show you how to build a basic DIY writing desk with a large work surface and three handy drawers.
This desk was made using birch plywood and basic 2x4s and pine trim. Of course, you could build this same design using any type of lumber you prefer, but this saved quite a bit of money on materials since plywood and pine are pretty inexpensive.
I was building this for my Dad's office where he meets with clients and customers, so the large top surface of this desk was great so they can spread out and look through designs and portfolios.
