Which version you like the most? Link to the build video of version 1.0 below: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-fLjSSx9X8hs.html Thanks for watching!
Both are awesome imho, but v2 sorts out some key items like tires and cornering, weight and braking. Still inspirational; I first saw your three-wheeled scooter build. Liked & Subscribed!! Looking forward to the next build! 🤘😎
Actual work - 6 months to a year to design, get matrials, do all work and test . RU-vidrs - oh my gosh it only took him 20 minutes to build he is a master .
Hi Henni, with your new vid you've rescued my sunday morning. An absolute great work and a perfect job. The idea with the steering rods...fantastic ! It's really visible on your channel, that you absolutely know what you are doing. Thanks for showing ! Greetings and best regards ! 😊
I love the look of the bike, it is very futuristic. Have you ever considered a fully electric version? That oversized frame gap between the top frame and power assist could fit a huge power pack and with those tyres and steering you could make a 150-200km range bike that's fully electric. Great design and I enjoyed the video.
This thing is nuts! The steering mechanism is really impressive. I think you need to do a version with motors in the wheels and steering both wheels at the same to give you a super tight turning radius
I predict that if you keep up the quality of the workmanship and editing of projects like this that you will eventually have 20 times the number of subscribers that you have now.
It is also the game of stupid YT algorithm. I have seen idiotic vids getting millions of views. If this guy put some Japanese text in title and description, the vid will go boom in millions views.
@@shafismaili1347 it's an ebike it will go at 25kph without any effort although using more power then if it was a regular bicycle. Lots of people would love a bike with decent tires, bicycle tires are rubbish, if you ride though a pothole your going to get a flat. Motorcycle tires are a lot thicker and more durable.
Steering mech is impressive. maybe if you add an additional link perpendicular to the steering connecting rod, with the other end of the link attached to the suspension arm, you could reduce the free movement of the steering connecting rod. Kind of like a multi-link suspension mechanism
AWESOME!!!! Just (sorta) what I envisioned for future EV bikes. Tires a lot bigger, but I understand the limited choice available. I had not thought of routing the steering like you did, amazing. But bigger hubs, YES, solid wheels, YES, able to remove wheel via bolts on one side, YES, simple strong frame able to hold a ton of items or batteries, YES. What would be great is the new Pinion gear system with motor included giving both wide ranged of gears, power and simpler mounting with a belt drive. But this is what I've wanted to build, but don't have the skills. (needs rear or front rack for grocery shopping in my version)
DUDE- with your talent, you should make an e-bike that is front drive and rear wheel steering! (why not make e-bike rear steering) super cool to see rear steering e-bike.
Well you made a subscriber out of me. Best Bill's video I've seen in a long long time and is one of my favorites now. Kudos man! You knocked it out of the park
Great idea. It was very beautiful. I wish you had put the steering and brake parts through them while you had ready-made hollow blocks. Maybe it would be a cleaner image. But I'm just writing, of course I don't know how difficult the job is.
Beautiful creative build, just think that frame deserves a bit more power, maybe a QS motor and Fardriver controller, and there's plenty of room for a big battery pack.
Great channel Henny, played a couple times with your old man, he proudly pointed me to your channel saying we could be friends, well, he's right ;-) still a lot to discover, but i"m already a fan!
Hi Henny, Wonderfull design, V3 must have chock absober, you will be my master, i will start from "1000 yamaha GTS" front suspension to do my one (this front suspension was a marveling advance design); thanks so much for all idea given from your 2 project..
Very cool looking sort of slow ..i would hateto have to drag it up set of stairs... consider an alluminum version?? I mean just looking at it it has to be over a hundred pounds..
i think its safer and easier to just use original wheels with compatible wheel holder parts and just cut and weld after suspension therefore you can mostlikely have also suspension system :P some chinesse model use this methon on electrical heavier models ..
Amazing mechanical design!! Nice. Suggest - instead of the hiems and rods, use a HD ‘push-pull’ cable!! Easier and lighter weight - and the cool factor is there too! But love the articulated mechanisms though :) Are those wheels Porsches spares as they seem very narrow?!!? Again. NICE PROJECT
I wanted to do that initially, but i couldn't source a cable that would work. The wheels are the front ones which are only 7 wide. I used a rear 8.5 wheel to make an electric scooter. See my other videos😏
NICE, but you need to give it a long bench seat like a cafe bike and not a bike tiny seat , cut that area and level it out, bench seat will give it a more auto / motorsport look
@HennyButabi - Nice looking design and I admire the considerable effort and time it must've taken you (the time-lapse doesn't convey), however there were a couple noteworthy observations. Firstly you chose a much heavier box steel frame, why? And powered it with a gutless 250 watt (UK legal) Bosch motor. Secondly, I noticed your steering linkage had a lot of play in it, enough to perhaps cause seriously undesirable wobble keeping in a straight line. And with tyres that large, a brushless hub motor inside the front and/or rear wheels, would deliver the kind of power more suited for a build of that overall weight. One could literally bolt in a 37kw three phase motor into that spacious frame... And hey presto, you'd have some really precarious fun with it. 😉🤣 Keep up the good imaginative and innovative work!
It's totally different and completely innovative......if it performs as said it will be quite a ride........bigger battery would be handy to make it totally electric.
It's not really totally different if you take the time go through videos on youtube and see other iterations of this same basic idea....others have suspension. As for innovative, you do not seem to know how to use the word, i state that with no intention to offend you, just stating.
@@RemnantDiscipleLazzaro-Rev1217 Well.....there is no design quite like that one and the way it steers so it is totally innovative in that it is an original idea.......but if you subscribe to the idea that a bike is an object with 2 wheels you could be right.....but then my shopping trolley has 2 wheels but it's not a bike..
@@gangleweed _"Well.....there is no design quite like that one and the way it steers so it is totally innovative in that it is an original idea.."_ ... actually there is.. there are Greek guys in Greece on youtube who built a quite similar and such steering control ideas they have doney the same and also, such steering mechanisms are nothing new on custom motorcycles since such custom motorcycles and even caars have incorporated such designs so such things are not new _[look up custom Harley Davidson builds where they do the same thing with how to steer/turn the front wheel]_ so it's not original. Nothing is really original, the guy who built this cycle got his ideas from others, who got their ideas from others and so on, since people get ideas from other people's ideas and it's just a mixing in different ratios of these ideas we have seen in the past. As for innovative, no offence, but this is not 'innovative' in proper etymology and usage, many people do not realise the marketing/advertising industry is notorious for hijacking, corrupting, misusing, abusing and breaking the proper use of a word just to sell a product. The word "Bike" is an American corrupted English truncation _[what else is new with Americans, they do not communicate in English but "American"]_ of the word "Bicycle" which means: "Bi" _["two"]_ - cycle _[wheel/cycle]_" _[from the Greek]_ so your shopping trolley is also a bicycle but to be specific it could be called rightly a bi-cycle trolley.
@@RemnantDiscipleLazzaro-Rev1217 It's all a matter of opinion.....being innovative means it has a collection of ideas put together in another format that has never been seen before, not like that anyway...........a play on words maybe but true, nevertheless.
It's beautiful. I liked the first one but square tires on a bike must have been like riding a bucking bronco in the corners. I laughed when you showed how well the front wheel tracks to the handle bars, I was expecting it to be a little quicker or slower but you got it perfect. There might be some mechanical advantage to be had there. I generally like mid drives but your counter shaft seems like the perfect place to put a motor. Ever think of putting suspension on these creations?
