This is time consuming but I never go without making an apex anymore. I have flat nails and no other nail tech has ever built an apex for me. I’ve had nail techs laugh at the weakness of the nail and how they are flat and almost slope upwards. I now do my own nails with an apex AND I LOVE THEM. thank you so much! Never loved my nails so much and I feel so proud when I get complimented on them!
Super informative! I'd love to see a video on the 3/4ths method, I'm the queen of short nails because it's impossible to keep them long LOL. Also, I'm curious the pros and cons between gel top coat vs. dip liquid top coat. Do you think there's enough to make a video on the differences?
Ohhh that’s a great suggestion! I will write that down, thank you so much! 💗 I truly think it comes down to personal preference. Many love the look/shine of gel polish and how “fast” it is. So basically apply and cure and done! But so many are coming to find out that they’re allergic to gel. So that can be a big reason not to use it. I personally love dip liquids but I know so many suffer from dip flu from the smell. Which would be a gel “positive” since they’re not as harsh smelling. I also prefer dip top coat’s shine. I don’t mind the dry time. I know many also have issues with contamination with dip liquids so that could also be a negative.
Hi! Love your videos! Question: you used gel top coat over the dip nails at the end, so you do not have to use base gel before top? I thought you always had to use base before top gel so that it would stick properly. Thanks for the advice. 😊
I loved how these turned out...very informative loved it and thank you so much for the love it means the world to me...that glitter is beautiful sugared...tysmfs💖💖💖
Could you do dip base with the first 2 half like layers and then 2 applications of colours or glitters for the other 2 and then a full clear dip? Would this make near your cutical still as strong or more prone to lifting as there would not be as many layers?
