Thanks for sharing your knowledge, really appreciate your development approach while learning. What would be a great video is if you could take something like this and then build the database within Bubble. I'm having problems understanding HOW to create a database that will scale easily in use. 1. When should something have its own table (Data Type as in Bubble) - OR - make it a Data Field. 2. Share with us WHY something should or should not be a Data Type or Data Field. Like in THIS video, Country would be a Data Type (as in Bubble) and should CITY be a Data Field of Country? My thinking, they BOTH should be DATA TYPES because of the Filtering features this app offers - it will require direct access to both types of data. Would it be sufficient to filter cities as a Data Field or not? 3. Show us HOW these TWO types of data share a relationship when filtering. THIS is where it gets complicated and we could use some Solid Advice HOW to approach building our data architecture so it WILL be scalable when filtering with many users. It's easy to build databases in Bubble, but that doesn't make the STRUCTURE of the data appropriate for one's app. Share with us HOW to think through structuring our data when planning an app Data Types and when it appropriate to make Data Fields or to consider them as their own table (DATA TYPE). This level of learning never seems to make it to people's Channel. As important as Database Structure is when building an app no one wants to dig in and SHOW us how to think it through to make the RIGHT choices.
