Just note the level of the mono and the island level plays a part. Apparently, if the mono is too big, the conveyor belt thing won't happen. Ur mono might be too big and will get pushed out of the conveyor belt or the loot from the mono won't get pushed.
This setup worked well at my base. Made plenty of straw and wood. Modified setup to also make hardwood using cherry blossom tree, worked well, made 3 bags with the palm trees and cherry blossom trees. Massive resource production. True with a Cacao tree, not very successful. Key point is to make this away from any crop fields of automation, Also have this at a higher elevation.
All of your automation are well thought out and work well in isolation. Since I have an xbox one x, I have to make some minor adjustments. I have taken a few of your designs and combined them, like making iron invite and batteries. Maximum output with less monos. It seems the more monos in a base, the more issues. I would like to see you make some integrated designs as I would expect them to be revolutionary based on your skills.
Hi, Caztecx! Awesome guides all throughout! I have been following your videos for about 2 weeks since I have been playing Craftopia. I am trying this logs farm now and my rotating saw is jumping out of the walls as I put it in. Perhaps it has been patched now? Or perhaps I have been doing it wrong? Hope you guys can notice this comment. :)
they must have changed the way the droppers and absorbers work recently, absorbers no longer suck up items the way they did before and droppers fling items almost across the map now compared to how they used to lol. i did this tutorial just now and the absorbers are mostly failing, the items dropping from the trees go literally everywhere but the absorber's range which should technically encompass the entire area of the trees. Even putting absorbers outside the walls to where the items are dropping, they STILL miss the items most of the time. I've watched for hours at a time, wood stacking to lag-causing levels with the absorbers completely missing them.
Absorbers make the items miss the chest, or miss entire stacks of items right in front of them, Wheat farms are completely useless now, making thousands upon thousands of stacks of wheat as absorbers literally right next to them miss the wheat completely forgot to mention that too lol
This design doesnt work for me when I try to do this for all trees, trees keep blowing up and monos dont die fast enough to heal them, am I doing something wrong?
I hope this works on XBox too. We were in early excess... you can build si much more things on PC version right now. Hope they finish the game soon, can't wait to use all these nice things. My world level is 7, cause 8 is coming soon
with all farms i build, i have Xbox players in mind and i also have Xbox members of my community who test my build before i release them, Sometimes minor adjustments need to be made such as slowing down the resources due to the item limit on xbox, but i will state if the farm isnt suitable for console at the start of a video, the last thing i want is for a platform to either not be able to use one of my farms or worse, waste there time building it for no reason. i completely agree! i need more content! 🤣 i think 8+ will come with Seamless personally but thats just a guess
@@Caztecx OMG you answered!! Thanks for that. Oh yeah I couldn't wait for an update. I build on a new map and want to build automatically farms again, with your Vids a little bit easier
YAYA so much better. Old way my sawbot wouldn't stay in 1 position, it would climb walls and take off. (later in the day...) I actually have 2 sets of monos set up yet my coconut tree keeps dissappearing. I think the sawbot is doing way too much damage on the tree for it to heal in time from even 2 sets of monos. 1 set is Lv 45/56, 2nd set are level 4/5
not sure what platform you are on but if you are on console, mono healing is very bugged, make sure you have a monolith on your setup too, however if you're on Pc maybe try turning off the "physics limit" in the settings from the main menu, i use 1 set of monos on mine and it has never stopped
The Pot or Recycler will work aslong as you are on normal or lower difficulty, may just have to mess around with some lower level monos to see which ones work the best
What is the stack limit for console? I remember watching some of your older farming plot guides and it was said stack of 4 per tile was recommended for console. However, I have Xbox Series X. Is the limit still 4?
Works great until I go off to explore, and then the saw jumps out of the box and follows me. If I’m close to it it works perfectly, it’s when I walk away. What causes this?
Yeah hell mode makes farms difficult, I tend to recommend difficulty switching when afking resources, otherwise multiple healing setups and working out the right levels will work but increase the size of the build
they do still heal as normal, are you on single player or multi? Multi is very buggy, if single player then maybe higher level monos? or are you not seeing any heals at all?
My bot keeps climbing the wall and trying to run off. Any idea why? Thanks for all your amazing guides! Edit: I guess the planters I had growing herbs was too close?
I had the same problem. if you double the walls and place a floor on top of the rotating saws he cannot climb out. It doesn't look pretty but it got the job done. My setup is right next to the base with all my herbs.
destroy the other trees on the island or reposition your Crafted Tree in its path way, their is a bug where the sawbots doesn't recognize our Crafted Trees
Your Saw bot may be distracted with the trees on the rest of the island, if its an empty island, remove the trees from the sand part, if its another island, i would advise moving it to an empty island
