@@lolloll4441 stfu if you are just gon be hatin just leave cuz it’s more than just the bikes power it’s the people you meet along the way and I’ve made many connections with many people and I wouldn’t trade that for a gas bike that would be in the impound as soon as I leave my house while I ride my electric dirtbike the cops don’t give af
The price of the kit for a 85 is passing me off. I can buy a whole ass sur ron for what that kit cost. Like bro, why is it so expensive? Idk why they are even able to sell them. Like don't yell know u can buy a full bike for what they always for thier kit?
Absolutely killing it with the video production yet again! Nobody else out there is presenting to the camera while doing a wheelie! Everything looks effortless but it's still obvious that a lot of work goes into your content.
The kit you link to mentions nothing about those forks you put on:) Can we get some info there, because that has gotta likely double the cost of your build, and nobody should do the kit without upgrading to a real fork (with all that speed and power). This may be slightly irresponsible to not mention...
That's freaking awesome man. Now I need to get my kids off of the dang video games and do a couple of builds. I bought a year ago 2- 212cc minibike engines, fairly cheap but brand new. We hadn't gotten to it yet because I was in the middle of building our house at the time. This looks like something we could do together over a weekend project. Thanks for sharing and keep rocking out.
Man I get it I'm 12 and sometimes since my parents are kinda strict with those video games I catch myself and my dad is a engine head as I like to say he works on cars trucks ATVs stuff like that so I'm planning on starting a bike project probably a gas one tho
Kool vid, radd build but for $1700 just for the kit is pretty steep. I obviously love the build but for 1700 not including the actual bike and forks. I think I’d rather purchase a real supermoto. I got my DRZ400SM for 2200. You should put together a build under $1500 from old pitbike parts. You should checkout ratherbweldings YT build. Came out so dope. Basically putting together a build like that with less welding yakno. Cheers bro 🤙🏽
im so glad to see people making use of these bikes, i had an mx 500 when i was little and it was the most fun i ever had before hopping on a real bike a couple years later
Razor 650 is around $500 depending on where you buy or if on sale or not. Seen it between $450-$650. The Electric Kit is around $1,700 or so. The front forks are +$200 at least. Not a cheap build. But it's fun. Less than a Surron though.
@@brianmccann666 shoot, I saw I used mx650 for $75. Don't know what was wrong with it, but it looks like you'd be changing out all of the most expensive components anyway.
Surronster I’ve been watching you for some time now and I wish I could build that bike to ride but as an 13 year old I can’t afford it but it looks fun keep up the good work ❤
Don't worry bud, give it 2 years till you can get a job and by then there will be better performing motors and lower cost batteries, it's only getting better from here on out.
Damn dude, I really enjoy these build and upgrade videos, but I wish you included pricing of the parts at the time of filming (How much was the original Razor bike? How much is the kit?). I think adding these details in the video itself would help incentivize a lot of people towards buying something like this.
Last I checked the price of the upgrade kit on electro and Co runs close to 1600-1800 dollars, the bike is anywhere from 589-700 dollars depending on where you buy it. I have no clue what the front forks cost or the cost of the wheels, but the wheels are from the razor rsf650. All in all I would guess anywhere from 2500-3000 for the full build. Still cheaper than the Electric YZ that's for sure.
It's funny you mention the fact that the EMX is a cop magnet. I've been building out an mx650 with the E&C kit and in the past month I've been pulled over 3 times just because my local law enforcement don't understand or know about ebike laws. I just kinda wish cops were better informed about the laws they enforce.
@@destroyingthehomeless5045 Only a sheriff threatened to give me a ticket, and he thought that PEDAL bikes were allowed in the bike lane at ALL (let alone ebikes)! The local cops just asked about the bike and after I educated them on ebike laws, one of them asked for a photo. They were pretty cool about it. Sheriff, not so much.
@@AxelDayton damn dude, to my knowledge shouldn’t you be fine in the bike lane? I though any 49cc or below motorbike/ e-bike was legal, it’s not like they have ever clarified clearly what is and isn’t legal
$1700+ and doesn't even come with a decent strap instead of electrical tape? Wild people must have money to burn these days 😬 the surron I could justify that money on upgraded but not buying a kids toy to add tht on top unfortunately 😕
OSET sells just their frames and the kids ones look a *lot* like a Razor frame. Not an affiliate, just always on the lookout for frames and they've been around for a few years as well as being about what a frame should cost; not too much, not too little. I found them when I stumbled upon some gasgas frames super cheap on online auction sites and when I looked them up they had a bunch of PEV parts for sale, including bare frames, which is what really caught my attention.
Yes, That company,OSET, was formed by a guy that wanted something his kid could ride on. The frame probably is excellent if it’s from the trails bike very strong and lightweight I imagine. great suggestion!
🇬🇧It's all about the controller! Dude I had a shitty ebike now with a new controller it's pushing twice the power without any other Upgrades great video SurRonster!!🤘😎🤘
EXCELLENT Vid Big Dawg. Trying to get my wheelie game up. But if I haven’t said it already, you inspired my Ultimate Razor builds and even on to my Electric CRF450r build. APPRECIATE the knowledge, motivation & inspiration. DOPE!💯🙏🍻👑
would you ever try making a build with the Razor MX650 but using a dual brushless hub configuration 72v each? I'd love to do it to my mx650 but there is ton of research to make it possible, plus I cant find anyone anywhere that has done it before so I can base my build off of it...
@@VoltronWatts I was looking to see if anybody modified an MX650 using two brushless hub wheels instead of the motor and chain itself, but haven’t been successful finding any information or videos about the build…
hi sur ronster I love your videos and I am making a 48v 3000w mx650 and I don't have a lot of $$ and I am on a budget I was wondering if you could help me out😊😊
Idk man I was really looking into getting in to these because I thought it would be a cheap way to ride but $1700 plus the bike $500 plus $500 forks and around $300 for wheels it’s $3000 to only go 50 mph you put that same amount or less into a Predator mini bike and get way more power or just save a little more for a Surron
Hey sur ronster, I don’t expect you to reply cause Ik ur busy making amazing content. Would the rsf tyre fit on the mx500/mx650 hub?? Thanks and keep up the great content. Much love❤❤❤
Dang bro, every time I watch a new video, I just wish there was more. I feel how hard it is to keep a RU-vid channel going, while also getting a degree in freaking mathematical economics. Props to you, and I wish you the best!
This is all I ever wanted. I always wanted a razor dirtbike when I found some monster I was like why not upgraded I went to the website it’s $1000 to upgrade I’m like yeah like oh is my dream boy like yeah hopefully when I get a job I can get it
Me and my dad have a razor rsf650 and we want to put front suspension on it. Would the one in the video work? If so what is it called. I tried looking on electro and co but it’s not there.
I know a lot of people have been looking for the forks he puts on the MX 500, and they actually are on Electro & Co and are called the ETM Razer Hydraulic Fork Upgrade Kit but they are being sold for $500
I upgraded sx500 mx650 razor e bikes and they are a lot fun I did a cheap upgrades that makes goes up to 30mph ride time bout 1hour 30 min up to 17 miles around the neighborhood for about $700 on the mx650/mx2000 .. I love watching your content on upgrades on e-bikes Happy New years to every body
What were the upgrades that you did and where did you get the parts because I would love to do this but even the way he does it is too expensive for me.
Same but I have a 4wheeler and my parents have a speed limiter and make me stay in a little spot to ride it. Everyone in my neighborhood else dad don’t care or Mom
Really enjoy your videos! Have you ever done a razor mx350 upgrade? My son is 5 and I would like to upgrade it for him to ride. My 3 yr old rides another mx350 but keeping that stock for now.
hey man, love the content, and I have been wnating a low budget build, or bike like this. could we just get a little more in-depth of what your doing, if I was to do this, I would be guessing alot, no disrespect, love the videos!
ok, its an easy build but the bike alone is $800, not to mention the almost $2,000 kit you put on the bike, an actual e-bike would be the same price as this, I wouldn't label this as a cheaper option.
