I just want to thank you for sharing this video. I found it about 2yrs ago and came across it today, 12/15/2023, because I had saved it. It helped me build a tiddleywinks-type of structure for my granddaughter. Your video was totally inspirational in my creating a shade tent for my outdoor plants, when California had a very hot spell for a couple weeks. Thank you again!
This was such an awesome idea and very simple to build, my daughter's been having so much fun not just playing in it but also designing with different colors and textures of blankets, sheets, etc. Thanks a bunch!!
What a great idea , I think you Will have lots of fun playing with your son since you are not crouched like you would be with the chairs and dining room tabl. Love it. Have fun
Thank you for showing me this!!! i know im only 11 years old about to turn 12 but im going to build my baby cousin braden and my 2 other baby cousins a play house accept this one is going to be a hole lot bigger!!! your an awesome dad!!!
Hey thanks! I was wanting to make a chicken coop but I couldn't figure it all out and felt intimidated, but now that I saw what you did I know I can make one too now. Your a really cool dad for taking the time to make him a playhouse!
Great video! It would be very helpful to have a list of all the supplies in the top section so people wouldnt have to take notes while watching. Just a suggestion. Thank you for the great idea!
Nathan, do you think that you could include in the video description the # and type of fittings needed and also the # and lengths of the pipe. Somewhere in the video you talked about 2" extenders.....I could not find where you used the 2" extenders. Thanks,
i love this way and it seems so easy i am happy he put this up here i always wanted a play house that is not in the thousands dollars thank you so much
That little guy Lucas is a bright young man! lol Love how he takes direction and looks at the camera and then runs in and out as you asked him to for the video. lol Kids are great. Hey Nathan thank you to you and the wife (behind the camera Im assuming) for making this video. I laid a PVC fort out on the floor at Lowe's just last night while there for a toilet part. lol Would you say that those clips are the same as a piece of PVC split vertically? Im glad to see that there is an alternative to using a hacksaw or a miter saw to cut the pipe. All this time I've never paid attention to that tool. Anyway, thanks again!
Hello, please notice. I didn't really understand the measurements of the pipes? Can you please mention it in the comments, my children will love this fort. Thank you!
You know this this video is from 10 years ago I doubt he even noticed that he's getting traction or views this came up in my Google search when I was looking for 45° angle PVC elbows.
:) thank you :) u should, if u havent done already, market a kit because i was just about to buy a fort toy for same price except it was much smaller and did not come with clamps or anything. My son and nieces will love this. I am going to build and try and record a video of our finished fort.
Thanks for posting this, My toddlers are already rotten and this should help push them over the edge to "Completely rotten". lol Seriously tho, Thanks.
I love this, my son is making me crazy every day because he wants a house and this is going be an excellent idea, can you please please provide a list with all you need and measures, I would like to do this without my husband help and surprise him :) Thank You
thank you for house to similar to one i grew up in next to highway in santo pobrecito, can you please send me list in spanglish for to build it for family of 9 with at least 6 bedrooms, and also send a generator, air conditioner and 100 kilos of flour, sugar, and water filter. thank you.
Thanks. You're right. For others just starting this project, my Home Depot only had the pipes themselves, the pipe cutter, and the 3/4" elbow fittings shown in vid. I couldn't find the clips there either (at least not in the pvc aisle). Home Depot had many fittings, of course, just not specific ones called for here. For the 3-ways, 4-ways and clips, I had to go on line, as advised in vid. Available on line at various sites, but might be cheaper to save on shipping by using Amazon if you have Amazon Prime, which I did, and even found some cute colors. (Tip: rather than lug cumbersome 10 foot poles from Home Depot, which may not fit in your car, do the cutting right there in Home Depot parking lot. If you forget your tape measure, buy a cheap one there. Also, the cheap orange home depot buckets are a great way to store all the cut pipes and fittings. A long duffel bag would be good, too. )
Hello, how are you?? Can you write me the measurements you used to make the house? I'm Brazilian and I do not understand your language. I used the translator to write this message. Thank you.
