How to Build an Ocean: the Documentary 

it actually hurts to hear callum say that signing to a label is what made them all think "oh we're a real band now" when I think they've been a real band since day one. their voice and their music and their presence has always been so strong and I think that being independant brings so so much to bears in trees as a group. I always remember that you four are friends first and knowing that your music is your heart and your history makes it so clear that you have always and will always be a real band to us

things i have learnt from this documentary: 1. bears in trees are still the number one best band ever who we all adore 2. the history of the beers in the tears 3. you can teach a man to fish, but you cant teach a fish to man 4. dont trust nick to hold a mug still 5. callum played a show in a space onesie at some point 6. (asher in the replies) 7. probably a lot more but im too distracted by the banger music in the background to think of it (also 1:39 not the serbian cops-)

hi this made me cry so much. literally like 4 minutes in i was sobbing. and now i just feel like i should go on a rant about how much i love this band. i haven't been a fan for long. about a year? a silly goose convention reel changed my life and thats a bit silly i guess but im also crying while writing this. i was in a very bad place mentally then. first song i listened to was it gets better. changed my life. its like. not even just the band or music itself. but like the people yk. nick, callum, iain, george and the fandom. i have a not that popular fanpage on ig and the interactions ive had with bit fans are always so amazing. i really dont know how to word that. and like theyre so sweet guys 😭 the fans and the band theyre so nice. i get terrified to dm people and earlier i asked bit if i had to buy a separate ticket for my teddy bear. like its silly. and like again the fans. like i havent had any interactions with asherapparently but i always see their comments and accounts on everything related to bit and idk why but it makes me happy. and i dont know how im supposed to word this comment well. im not really thinking about it much. but i love all of you. and yall have changed my life so much and yall have changed so many other peoples lifes too its amazing. i love randomly texting my best friend at 3 am "HEY HEY DID YOU SEE WHAT BEARS IN TREES POSTED???" he doesnt listen to bit.. but i still make sure he knows. ill forever be a bears in trees fan. best band ever. cant wait to see yall in greenville

i went to your first american tour in 2022, and then when you were touring with noah in 2023, and im genuinely glad to say that im seeing you guys again this year you’ve impacted my life in a way i can’t describe and i thank you

I wholeheartedly agree about everything you said about this album, it feels just quintessenial and it's absolutely amazing. So proud of it and this band now hearing about the behind the scenes struggle, coming from a fan who started listening to your music around late 2021 or early 2022 (can't quite remember!) Your music is so inspiring for my own writing process, keep being awesome!!

This was such an emotional video to watch. I discovered BiT just after the release of Every Moonbeam Every Feverdream and immediately fell in love. The emotion and message in every one of your songs is so genuine and you can feel the music in your heart and soul. How To Build An Ocean: Instructions, is one of the best albums I've ever heard in my life, and I feel honored to have been there for its release. Iain, Callum, Nick, and George, you are an inspiration to every artist out there, regardless of their artistic discipline, and I hope you never stop creating music and sharing it with the world
