Hey there, I have been trading for about a few months now and just about every trade slaps me in my face. Nearly impossible for me to catch more than a few points . I try to do top down analysis and MTF analysis, but it doesn't work for me . I say to myself, clearly I'm in the 90% that lose money, so I open a demo account, do my analysis, then take the opposite of what I would normally take(I know, it sounds stupid but I was desperate) and get the same result. Emotions have their place. My is in STEM and I'm still emotional. It's a human thing unless you're a sociopath. I agree that that math, and science aren't emotional, but there's social sciences. buffering

Love watching your videos. I personally don't trade the first 1-2 hours of the day. Since I live in the West Coast, waking up at 5:30am is not sensible for me. My sweet spot is 7:30-10:30am PST. It allows me to see exactly the day's action with majority of economic data/news out of the way paired with a full night's sleep which allows me to focus. IMO you can trade at any time of the day but like you said, understand the time you're trading.
